Funny, I didn't upload my macro because it didn't look sharp but knowing it was sharp. Macros almost always reveal interesting stuff. Nicely done here.

the colors are defined by the white balance. if you don't shoot in RAW your camera has to calculate the WB which may be a hit or a miss. Awesome shot here

I have no clue why you put that background in. Doesn't make any sense to me. And the back of the horse I think should be still inside the wall. Like this it just doesn't show your intention which is actually great.

totally agree with you but my experience so far here is that people do not appreciate quality. Sadly only the wow factor really counts

very well done except for the Zebra which looks a little strange. Not sure if it's the light/shadows, the perspective or both.

nice work but the proportion of the two sources are way different. The plants look either gigantic or the boat and man so tiny. Looking at Hi-Res the blending in many places is too soft for my taste.

Really great work but I have a hard time to understand the connection with the source. Grasping a tiny piece of texture doesn't cut it for me.

I don't see how you gave personality. Maybe you didn't read the contest rules careful enough.

Although this looks excellent (even with the slight motion blur) it misses an important thing for this particular contest I think. Actually neon signs are all about color and that is missing here. If you have the color version I'd replace it.
