I can imagine you hiking and finding this and it would stop anyone in their tracks. There is something to be said about taking photos without long exposure, I feel too many photographers forget about the beauty of freezing the water droplets...I like your photograph for the simple reason that not only can we see it ....see the details...but I can hear it as well. Personally, I would not have minded a bit more brightness (exposure) on this to pop it out more, to make it "louder" but that is just me. I think you did well to only compose into the photograph that what matters...the surrounding bush and the waterfall. I also enjoy reading your description...we get to know you a bit better through this narrative you put up. Nice one.
(5 years and 1066 days ago)Yippee! All "Legal" now... good job author
(5 years and 1218 days ago)Yes, now it is fixed.
(5 years and 1219 days ago)No, it is still 954x634. You will need to create a new image in your graphics program and make it 1920 pixels x1080 pixels, then take your original image and resize it down to fit. Don't try to enlarge the entry you have already made, because it will become pixilated.
(5 years and 1220 days ago)Author, in the contest goal it states that the resolution of your image must either be 1920x1080 or 3840x1080, your entry is 954x634. You will need to fix this for your entry to remain in the contest.
(5 years and 1221 days ago)All fixed author.. told you it was easy peasy... It's always a good thing to make sure your creation is completely yours, just in case someone comes along and tries the "Lift" it and claim it as their own. It's a nightmare. Good luck
(5 years and 1221 days ago)Then just place the RAW picture in the SBS.. easy peasy fix.. (It's just a rule to prevent Copyright infringement). By placing it into the SBS it makes the chop completely yours and legal. Without the unaltered photo in the SBS we have no way of knowing it is your photo. Good Luck author.
(5 years and 1221 days ago)Author, you need to post a RAW UNCUT image of the photo in the SBS of the person holding the polaroid or give the Source where the image was offered as creative commons. I'll hold my vote til you fix this so I know it can stay in the contest. It's a neat idea, now just bring it into the realm of the contest so there's now trouble Good Luck
(5 years and 1221 days ago)Just go to Profile and MY ENTRIES and it will give you the option to add an SBS or Sources. (ask Spaceranger for help if you have trouble)
