I went to the Zoo this winter for the Butterfly exhibit...The winter funk ya know. I found the Aquarium to be much more fascinating!

These are a few of the books in a back room that are too old or not quite as nice as the ones out on the shelves where people actually go. We have two more closets like this too. :-)

These two books were published in the United States at the height of WW II. They were to motivate people to support the war effort. Most of the photos are FAR to graphic to show here. The magazine basically portrayed Britain as heroically holding out, but needing the US' help.

I found that the saturation levels might appear to be a little dull and made some adjustments with curves. I found these in an old antiques shop and well, lets just say they suffered a bit of water damage. Best viewed in high res. :-)

antique books from my collection...i love the really old ones...hand bound...yellowed irregular pages...the musty library smell..... The one featured open was copyrighted in 1894. the other 2 are from the early 1900's.
