Ahhhh "home"....I worked here many moons ago. What a postcard perfect shot and it is "pretty as a picture".
(5 years and 776 days ago)Nice one sir, even if staged. BC is beautiful but Kendra is more so. Nice clear image with great flares pointing to the main focal point.
(5 years and 776 days ago)Well observed slice of everyday street life.
(5 years and 776 days ago)Has the aaarh factor and really like the lowish angle in this, you almost feel you are there observing these ducklings.
(5 years and 776 days ago)Like what you have done to this, gives this car a bit of class.
(5 years and 776 days ago)would love to drive this one.
(5 years and 776 days ago)Clever to get decay in an old building, now wish I had got a few photos when I was doing up old houses
(5 years and 777 days ago)Yes, this image has a really lovely glow to it and that soft vignette was exactly what the doctor ordered. Nice romantic entry.
(5 years and 782 days ago)A very sweet photo as we get caught up in his world. Did you know your image is quite blurred/not focused, you might want to sharpen and re-submit it.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Like the artistry behind this upload, well done. I would not have minded to see part of her breasts only because it looks like she's Demi Moore lying down and the pose looks too tight. Overall it is a rock solid entry.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Goal calls for Black and white, not monotone.
(5 years and 782 days ago)Congrats....ohhhhh sooooo Canadian. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
(5 years and 785 days ago)This HDR touch is most appealing . I also like that you kept the road in the image showing us the downpour. The vibrancy of colours adds to the visual excitement.
(5 years and 791 days ago)One complaint: the whites are burnt.
(5 years and 796 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 802 days ago)Congrats, well done
(5 years and 802 days ago)You have to crop this picture if you want the green become the main color.
(5 years and 804 days ago)Well, as I was putting my stuff up I noticed this one and just wanted to tell you that it looked like a painting, it is so beautiful in gray shades. What surprised me was that a gorgeous Canadian sight like this could look so good in monochrome...has to do something with the photographer, I'm sure
(5 years and 806 days ago)Ojibway? BIG CONGRATS.
(5 years and 809 days ago)Nice shot
(5 years and 811 days ago)Congrats for winning
(5 years and 836 days ago)If you PS software try bringing down the highlights because you do have blow outs on the lights. I love the story here, the movement caught is really nice too adds to a dreamy feel. I wonder if you took this hand held as it is a tad soft...and I just looked in Hi res...there is a significant amount of noise in the upper L hand corner especially.
(5 years and 836 days ago)This photograph really makes me feel like I'm there. Love how you captured the blur of movement juxtaposed against the solidity of the buildings gives a really nice push pull on the eye. Your exposure rocks, there are not blow outs (so easy to do in night photography). Lovely, truly.
(5 years and 836 days ago)chirp chirp how sweet. big Congrats .....yay CANADA!
(5 years and 837 days ago)Congrats, nice work
(5 years and 837 days ago)I've been there. A beautiful place.
(5 years and 838 days ago)Nice and sharp. Although posed it is a romantic photograph and a good one for holding memories of this day...fovever.
(5 years and 839 days ago)In my view this should be number one.
(5 years and 844 days ago)Dang, to bad I can't spell. It's life...not live.
(5 years and 847 days ago)this image makes one fall in love with live and all it has to offer. A gentle photograph of a fragile little bird artistically posted with good eye catchment technique evident. This was not an easy photo to get with all that white snow yet you have no block ups on black, details clearly seen, I applaud your exposure control. To me it is a spiritual photograph and has touched me at my 6th sense. Lovely.
(5 years and 848 days ago)"Quilt 'til you wilt!"..........you wife probably knows that line tho'.
(5 years and 852 days ago)She's probably a Canadian living in Renfrew!
(5 years and 852 days ago)the blow outs on this really work artistically....lovely
(5 years and 852 days ago)C for Cervin
(5 years and 862 days ago)Good for you tilting this...like it.
(5 years and 874 days ago)I bet this was grand in colour....looks grand in maroon too! You do have a prominent halo all around, that is a sign of overworking the image. This is well framed with good marginal space all around and the story telling effect is really nice.
(5 years and 875 days ago)Some serious bling there. Nice image and I particularly like the tone you chose for this...it is gently hued yet the jewel shines through. Good framing. Would be nice if that center stone was sharper, overall well done.
(5 years and 875 days ago)This bluish colour was used in old days by a famous Swedish photographer. I think it is an appropriate monotone for it stimulates and the excitement shown in the character marries well with blue. I love the expression caught and that says so much about the relationship betweeen photographer and subject and as far as relationship between me (the viewer) and subject, well, it makes me want to know him for I know he is a fun and fine gentleman. Your capture is well done with sharpness shown and good exposure especially on the white shirt, keeping the piano there adds to the story of fun fun fun. A bit of mystery also as I have no idea what he is holding...........and that is a good thing.
(5 years and 878 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 878 days ago)Congrats, well done
(5 years and 879 days ago)Exciting sky and nice to catch those two silhouettes as it adds perspective. I like that the colours are natural and not overcooked at all.
(5 years and 880 days ago)I do I do I do....alas. pfffffft
(5 years and 880 days ago)I have a bitch of a time with panning, this is really well done with sharpness on the car. At our photo club we have a Nat Geo photographer who did a shoot in Korea. He came back and shared his shots with us. There were many a photo tilted and looked grrrrrrreat. I do wish some photo members would remove their heads out from their rectal sphincter.
(5 years and 881 days ago)Love the tilt, outta box thinking....nice .
(5 years and 881 days ago)I like the soft vignette on this and the helter skelter, yet, organized chaotic look to it.
(5 years and 883 days ago)congrats
(5 years and 886 days ago)Congrats for winning
