I think Wayne's got it!
(5 years and 2157 days ago)I would have cropped some of the tree top to minimize the glare.
Nice pic otherwise.
I think this is shot through the front windscreen of a car which accounts for the reflection and the "softness"?
(5 years and 2161 days ago)Lovely framing and photo, just a little soft.
(5 years and 2161 days ago)is it a reflection in the trees ?
(5 years and 2165 days ago)Yes, obviously but still results are an OoF shot of your intended subject.
(5 years and 2198 days ago)Super shot of the glass though.
Looks like someone needs to invest in some lens cleaner!
(5 years and 2202 days ago)A little underexposed but, MUCH better focus.
(5 years and 2222 days ago)Good luck!
May be he / she was going for the lomoish effect?
(5 years and 2223 days ago)I have viewed this entry multiple times and just have to comment.
(5 years and 2223 days ago)This shot lacks suitable quality in focus, exposure, composition, color, etc.
The purpose of these comments is to help the author improve the quality of their entry to be competitive.
I have no suggestions for improvements on this entry beyond a re-shoot with something better than a cellphone in order for this shot to be remotely competitive.
I do not mean do be harsh, just constructively honest. -Sorry!
It looks as if you may have needed a tripod for this shot.
(5 years and 2223 days ago)You are quite right, my mistake. There is nothing in the goal that states it has to be full.
(5 years and 2241 days ago)"The glass has to contain a liquid!"
(5 years and 2241 days ago)Maybe you should get rid of the fingerprints...
(5 years and 2241 days ago)cute
(5 years and 2245 days ago)Nice...calming even.
(5 years and 2245 days ago)But then why are the guitars the only thing that is shifting? e.g. the doors and doorknobs in the back stayed the same
(5 years and 2247 days ago)kind of cool. How was this effect achieved?
(5 years and 2247 days ago)New image uploaded
(5 years and 2249 days ago)new photo uploaded
(5 years and 2249 days ago)I think if you would have taken the photo of the lake without the fence or rails in front of it, and if the horizon were straightened out it could have been a much better photograph. I also think it is slightly under exposed.
(5 years and 2250 days ago)It's great to experiment, but I'm not sure it works here, also theme states
(5 years and 2250 days ago)Set up a 'Studio', still life, Not really a studio setup .
Interesting effect, how did you achieve it?
(5 years and 2251 days ago)Very nice
(5 years and 2251 days ago)I think you'd better stop the experimentation ! Well here, for me, i doesn't work !
(5 years and 2253 days ago)Love the idea!
(5 years and 2260 days ago)Unique take on the theme, I like the composition and the focus, it is a very interesting photograph.
(5 years and 2260 days ago)Interesting perspective
(5 years and 2260 days ago)Difficult to make out what's going on
(5 years and 2262 days ago)Without much focus, it's difficult to tell what's a reflection
(5 years and 2262 days ago)IMHO, it is not difficult to take a photo out of focus. I think that I would kill the experiment.
(5 years and 2262 days ago)IMHO, I still think a well-focused picture speaks a 1000 words.
(5 years and 2262 days ago)The blurred yellow bird or butterfly is a bit disturbing because it catches the attention. Except that, nice point of view. Where is it ?
(5 years and 2271 days ago)I think a little closer crop and more detail/contrast in the butterfly would make it look better.
(5 years and 2281 days ago)I think a little closer crop would be a lot better.
