I thought the difference was one had white shells and one had brown shells.

Despite not all of it being in focus, I rather like the all over effect.

I think if you get a little further away you may be able to get it sharp throughout. You may have to crop it some but that shouldn't hurt it if it is at high resolution. It looks nice the way it is also.

This would really be nice if you can get the entire photograph into focus - I don't know what f/stop you used but you need to increase it to probably f/13 or even higher. The colors look really good as does the exposure.Good luck.

According to the Egg Nutrition Board (and who should know better?), "White shelled eggs are produced by hens with white feathers and ear lobes. Brown shelled eggs are produced by hens with red feathers and red ear lobes.
