You did a good job on the feathers and fur! I think the hat needs a sharper edge and the hammers perspective is a bit off. Overall nice blend.

anarchick: The orange thing on the duck's head is the required plate, but your confusion raises the question whether the "clearly recognizable" criterion has been met for that random item.

i would drop a shadow under the pup and the gramaphone just to ground them a bit, but otherwise, excellent entry!

But, as everybody said above, you need to fix the shadows.

Very nice composition and montage. Work on the shadows some and this will be a killer picture.

I only see one shadow and it;s in the incorrect place like Alan said... just add a few shadows and watch where the direction of the light is and the entry will improve. Good luck!

cute puppy and nice choices of images -- given the window is behind your subject the shadows are going in the wrong direction. You may want need to rotate the flower as well as its shadow is also incorrect.

Feet on chicken need a little work (I can see the old background where they were clipped)
