Madonna Au Naturel

I used a few different references for this painting, the main influence being the Madonna del Sassoferrato, oil on copper, a painting by Giovanni Battista Salvi, which is a painting on display in the Vatican. Instead of replacing something, i removed.

Spring Treasures

Searching for morels in the spring was always a spring ritual as our children grew up. Red and white trillium and violets were everywhere. No outside sources were used. All flowers and mushrooms were made with brush, smudge and eraser tools. All details in my SBS. Please enjoy!!

Decanted Color

Cropping was the only post edit done here. For this shot I placed a strobe with a red gel in a garbage can then put a piece of glass over it, then a diffuser and then the wine decanter. Above and behind the decanter I placed another strobe with a blue gel.
