I really feel silly posting this but felt I needed to have at least a representative of me. I had belonged to an african violet internet club a while back and this was a portrait I took to use on there. I made the rabbit and grew the violets so even the hobbies are part of my portrait. Not the best ...
What better way to bring out the really strong white tones than to shoot with an infrared camera. This may not have been a white blossom normally (actually it was deep purple) But with unedited infrared, this is what you have.

I used some desaturation of the and added a bit more contrast. An old flour mill suffering the ravages of the elements.
This shot turned out reminiscent of the game Carmen SanDiego.

Irish moss just beginning to bloom. I softened the focus of this in camera raw to give it a more magical look of this moss.
An angel in a cemetery that I Noticed all the growth on. Focused on the lichen so angel's face has a soft focus to it
I thought that the sepia tone was a perfect way to showcase this photo

My mom used to collect coins so I raided the folders and I came across the silver certificate stuck in an envelope.
The old singer in this picture I still use for straight stitch projects, beautiful stitching. The other one is my dream machine that I am still teaching myself to use to it's fullest.
