There aren't a lot of these kinds of images on this website. It's more Creative Photoshop then Pxleyes. I like it a lot. Problem is that your first two sources aren't usable. Flickr has plenty of butterflies in their Objects for Layers group.

Here is an excellent tutorial that I watched to learn how to create and use displacement maps. If you don't want to do that, i would at least reduce the opacity and the Smudge Tool to give the reflection ripples.

Nice image, but the moon reflection is a bit off. Try duplicating the moon layer, flip it and place it directly beneath the moon. Reduce the opacity of the moon reflection to about 50%. Use a displacement map of the background layer and add it to the that layer. It will make the moon's reflection ripple with the water.

Oh, my! That is tooooo cute! And smart, too! Where's your humor bar? Only problem that I see is your use of drop shadow. It makes it look like your rodent/rhion is standing next to a picture of a snake in the grass. You should duplicate your layer rhodent layer, fill it with black (in layer>layer styles), warp it to make it look like it's under the rhodent, decrease opacity and blur it a little. That's the secret to making shadows! Yeah!

Not really a critique author, but since you insist on showing boobies here: why is it that the model's left arm is up but her right nipple is higher than her left? I agree with eladine. She is too sharp like a cardboard cutout. I would soften it up.

That being said, I really do like the image a lot. I think that over all you've done a nice job and I can see that you worked hard on it.

I'm really surprised that no one else pointed this out. Maybe you see something that I don't. But the light sorce and the lights on the planets to the left don't seem to match up at all. It seems that there are rays of light coming from the top left corner but the planet on the left has a light reflecting on its bottom right. And the planet to its right has light reflecting on its left side just under the angle that the beams should be hitting it. The atmospheric perspective is driving me crazy, too. The closest planet is the darkest planet, the small planet seems far but just as lit.
