Impressive! They're not easy to capture. Especially, I imagine, while laying on your belly!
(5 years and 3041 days ago)Author: Don't take criticism as insults! Honestly after seeing the SBS, I see the dome everytime. And the image is a great effort. Sometimes people make criticize without offering actual solutions, either a result of not knowing the solution because they don't know your program, or just lazy. Either way, everything that we say here should be a learning experience. Never remove an entry that doesn't break the rules. You can always improve it and resubmit it. But NEVER remove something that you worked hard on because it's not "perfect."
(5 years and 3048 days ago)It looks a lot better in HiRes. Really dark when you are looking at it here. But in HiRes you can see the details better. Nice job.
(5 years and 3051 days ago)You should put the rose and stem and blood on a seperate layer and add a bevel and emboss and and maybe a drop shadow. If it's supposed to be a tattoo, blending could be a little better. Needs an SBS.
(5 years and 3051 days ago)The issue with the shadow that the building is casting should be able to be fixed in your software. There should be in your rendering options a way to adjust your shadows, maybe increase them. Also, if you increase your refractions by one, your dome will stand out more as a dome and not just the shape of the building, I think. I can see it now, like farsite said, I couldn't until after seeing the SBS. Just trying to help.
(5 years and 3051 days ago)I did this tutorial a little while ago! I like yours better! I used to Blender, but in my classes I'm learning Maya. Mossyb said everything. GL author.
(5 years and 3100 days ago)Cool. Nicely done.
(5 years and 3101 days ago)Gorgeous. But I'd like to see a tad more contrast. But that's just my opinion. Really nice shot.
(5 years and 3102 days ago)What does the GCCG stand for?
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Really cute. Nice work!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)This is too laugh out loud funny!
(5 years and 3102 days ago)Whoa! FANTASTIC!!
(5 years and 3106 days ago)Minimalism in design is specifically defined. This isn't it. I looked at your SBS. I appreciate the work you put into it so I consider that when voting. But as far as the guidelines of the contest, it doesn't really fit.
(5 years and 3106 days ago)GL, author.
When I saw the ridge at the bottom of the "egg" I thought that there might be some liquid in the bottle. There is something else in there. Reguardless of whether it is an egg or not, it is certainly not a liquid. If it were a liquid, like a blob of ink, it would take on the shape of the bottle. If it were ink suspended in another liquid it would disperse. Unless, maybe it does not mix with the solvant, like oil and water. Either way, it still looks like a solid to me. With or without the description, it looks impossible to me.
(5 years and 3106 days ago)Too cute!
(5 years and 3106 days ago)Interesting idea. Without knowing that it is an egg in the bottle it becomes a little confusing. That being said, it would be impossible for there to be an egg in that bottle, and the image is technically sound. Hi marks from me!
(5 years and 3106 days ago)Oh, my! Three???
(5 years and 3107 days ago)I like the way you changed the expressions on the sheeps faces. The black sheep didn't look mad to me until MossyB pointed it out. He just looks really serious to me. And the white sheep seem a bit intimidated, which i guess is the point. Really nice painted background, too! I like it. GL
(5 years and 3109 days ago)No need to delete. Just take a few minutes to upload some screenshots showing the basic steps. Like the use of the pentool to make the trees, and the way you placed the little white dots around the background circles. You can make screenshots easily by holding the FN button (bottom left on keyboard) while pressing Prt sc button (top right keyboard) if you're using a pc. Then go to Paing and press Paste. E joila!
(5 years and 3113 days ago)Bada$$!!!
(5 years and 3113 days ago)I hate Paul McCarthy! I love magazines so I was really excited to find an art magazine with a free magazine attached. I brought it home and found it to be an issue dedicated to PM and that I would have to keep it high out of the reach of my smaller children!
(5 years and 3129 days ago)Teehee. But I love your image.
Heehee! I love this.
(5 years and 3189 days ago)Teehee! So cute.
(5 years and 3191 days ago)Looks good. But the spot above his head where the wall shows through the trees could be chopped a little better. In high res you can see some of the leaves kinda fade into the background. Other than that, smart idea.
(5 years and 3191 days ago)Looks good. I hope that you are able to keep it the way it is.
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Has a kind of Zoroastrian vibe to it!
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Heehee! Cute. And I think I know whose this is!
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Edit: I was right!!!
Lookit paws!!!!
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Wow! Just born! Amazing.
(5 years and 3198 days ago)Oh, my God. I'm in love!
(5 years and 3198 days ago)That baby is just ADORABLE! The woman's cheeks look nice. I just don't like her teeth and eyes. But the baby gets high marks from me!
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Really cute!
(5 years and 3215 days ago)I LOVE your translation of this contest!
(5 years and 3215 days ago)Oh, my God, pingenvy! I am sooooo jealous!
(5 years and 3221 days ago)Heck, they used to sit the dead up in chairs as if they were still alive!
(5 years and 3223 days ago)Um, Author. When it comes to using a "Dead Baby" I don't think any view is "personal!" I guess that there are some people somewhere in the world are not turned off by images of dead babies.
This is what I used when I needed a fetus for a photo manipulation: http://luckystock.deviantart.com/art/fetus-46446757
Not as clear as yours, but at least people could focus on the beauty of your creation.
I'm sorry. This is not in compliance with the contest's rules. It says "Your own or your friend's pet." This is your sisters pet. I'm gonna red flag it. Haha! I'm kidding. It's a really nice drawing. I'm just hating because you're more talented than me!
(5 years and 3223 days ago)My sister was born at 6 months gestation!!! This website, which I found within seconds of googling "5 month old fetus" has an image of a living fetus that also would have worked. I'm starting to think that autor really wanted the controversy!

Awe, so cute! I just want to jump on him!!!
(5 years and 3244 days ago)I thought that it was a hat with a tv on it. It would be useless because how are you supposed to watch a tv that is on your head?
(5 years and 3256 days ago)I LOVE the skeleton's expression!
(5 years and 3278 days ago)Wow! Nice idea!
(5 years and 3278 days ago)Nice composition. But seems a little flat? Maybe bump the contrast a bit?
(5 years and 3291 days ago)This is just fantastic! I really don't think that the caption is necessary, although "sonofagrinch" is hilarious! The image speaks for itself so eloquantly!!!
(5 years and 3292 days ago)Fantastic!
(5 years and 3292 days ago)I LOVE Hindu stories.
(5 years and 3298 days ago)Really nice, but I wish that there was more contrast in the background. Otherwise, really nice vantage, framing and composition.
(5 years and 3298 days ago)Great job!
(5 years and 3298 days ago)So beautiful and fantastic!
(5 years and 3298 days ago)Snowman looks to be lit from within. If that were the case, it wouldn't cast a shadow.
(5 years and 3299 days ago)Nice take on the theme!
