@Danlundberg: I don't think that those are supposed to be fashion accessories. I think that he's supposed to be some sort of cyborg or somethig. In which case, author, the shadows woud be on the inside of the holes in his flesh to give them some depth. Or use an internal bevel on the mechanical parts. Does that make sense?
(5 years and 3308 days ago)I actually like the way it looks photographed! The lighting is interesting.
(5 years and 3314 days ago)Very smart.
(5 years and 3327 days ago)I think it's beautiful!
(5 years and 3327 days ago)What about the baby's right to live? Maybe you should have used a fetus with its skull crushed in. I guess it makes it easier to pull the dead baby's corpse out. See that? I made a statement about the image AND the statement at the same time!
(5 years and 3332 days ago)Oh, that's so gross.
(5 years and 3338 days ago)@MnMCarta: I think that it's like Kiwi the bird.
(5 years and 3341 days ago)@adeincyprus: you are right barring wind conditions and earth tremors (natural or vehicles going by) or people kicking the table, or something falling from the sky like bird poop. All of these things can happen at any moment. So at that split second that those things are not occuring, these two forks and two sticks are well ballanced!
(5 years and 3341 days ago)Fantastically created! Excellently thought out!
(5 years and 3347 days ago)I love the title!!
(5 years and 3357 days ago)I've actually heard this one! I like the image.
(5 years and 3360 days ago)Fantastic job! I can almost feel the leather of his hide!
(5 years and 3363 days ago)Wow!! This is fantastic!!!
(5 years and 3364 days ago)I just voted, and I was very surprised to see it was you! You're usually more confident in your work, it seems to be worried about what I say!! I didn't say it before, but I really like the image.
(5 years and 3366 days ago)Actually, I do use my own sources. Not everytime. I never said that I did. All I'm saying is that if you can't find the source that you want, make it. I didn't say it to start a fight! it was just a suggestion, crazy!
(5 years and 3366 days ago)I really didn't have a problem with the shadows on your source in the first place! Sheesh!
And I have 3 photoshop entries that feature me, my daughter and my fiance. The livingroom in my 3D entry is my livingroom. ALL of the textures are photographs of my actual furniture, the floor, the carpet and the walls of my livingroom. You can look at my reference photo of my living room and see that.
Yeah, the sun makes shaddows if your back is to it. Try at one or two facing west. Your subject doesn't have a head so you don't have to worry about squinting. Or use flood lights. My point is only that these contests are more satisfying (to me, anyway) when you use your own sources.
(5 years and 3366 days ago)Hey! That's my dragon! Fantastic job!!!
(5 years and 3367 days ago)So sweet! I like it!
(5 years and 3367 days ago)Make a source with no shaddows! Grab a camera, go outside in the sun and snap away. Sources don't have to come from the internet. Use your own. It's more satisfying that way, anway.
(5 years and 3367 days ago)Nice job!!!
(5 years and 3367 days ago)Gorgeous!! I LOVE it!!
(5 years and 3367 days ago)Fantastic!
(5 years and 3376 days ago)@MossyB: Moises is the Spanish name for Moses.
(5 years and 3376 days ago)Ok, it's a stretch. (30 +) "Finger 11."
(5 years and 3418 days ago)Nice!
(5 years and 3420 days ago)Took me a loooooong minute, but I think I GOT it!!!! "Rage Against the Machine!!!!!" Great idea!!!!
(5 years and 3420 days ago)Kiss...
(5 years and 3420 days ago)Nah, this one was easy. Blind Melon came right to me. The instructions DO NOT SAY THAT THE TITLE HAS TO BE THE NAME!! Just that the image has to represent a real band. So simple. Guessing is fun.
(5 years and 3422 days ago)@CMYK46: The directions don't say that the title of the image has to be the name of the band. It just says that the image has to represent a real band. I think that the author just wanted us to try to figure it out from the image. Men At Work is a real band, and I knew who he was refering to as soon as I saw the image!
(5 years and 3422 days ago)You should've used Eisenhower!! haha. I love it.
(5 years and 3442 days ago)That's just FANTASTIC!
(5 years and 3450 days ago)Hey! Tuckinator! Haven't seen you in a while. Yeah, Author, cool!
(5 years and 3450 days ago)Haha! Actually, if you look closely everybody's fore fingers fit their nostrils! Put your finger in your nose and you will see that it fits perfectly no matter your size!
(5 years and 3463 days ago)Nice, but what's the ladder for?
(5 years and 3464 days ago)I think that the piece is fantastic. Besides what the others have said, I have only one problem with the composition itself. There is a LOT of natural light coming from within the corodors of the underground temple without any indication that there is a skylight or something from above! But that's ok. It looks really nice.
(5 years and 3464 days ago)Yeah, what Lamantine said!!
(5 years and 3466 days ago)Having been a navigational radar technician on board a US Navy Aicraft carrier I can truly appreciate the humor in this! Well, I guess anybody could. I just like saying all of that.
(5 years and 3467 days ago)Instead of a question/answer or knock knock joke, it's kinda a play on words. Which is good enough for me.
(5 years and 3469 days ago)@CMYK46: since you must be difficult adding a definition, I'm assuming because you don't think that this entry fits, I was amused my this entry. Therefore it fits. If that was not your intention, sorry.
Haha! Nice!
(5 years and 3473 days ago)Oh, he's so cute with his eyes closed!
(5 years and 3473 days ago)I wrote a story about a white raven. There aren't many of them, but there are a few in the world. But my story was scifi.
(5 years and 3474 days ago)Nice image.
Haha! Fantastic!!!
(5 years and 3478 days ago)These damned bulbs are supposed to last for years! I've had so many blow out in the first couple of months that I want to go back to regular bulbs!
(5 years and 3478 days ago)Nice job, though.
There is a movie and a book called "The Ransom of Red Chief." It is very funny. The book and the movie are a little different, of course. But this image reminds me of that. I think that I saw/read it in 6th grade.
(5 years and 3478 days ago)Author: I think you had a good idea. But it is difficult to get good smoke images this way, I think. Even if you are using a point and shoot and/or don't have a lot of equipment you can try some variation of this: http://www.flickr.com/groups/technique/discuss/72157594252051944/
(5 years and 3478 days ago)As far as setting up the composition, I would try a little harder.
That's not creative, that's lazy! Haha! No, I like it though.
(5 years and 3479 days ago)I like the lines in the composition.
(5 years and 3479 days ago)You people know too much about illict drugs!
(5 years and 3479 days ago)Err...Friiskiwi...I think that it is because they're skunks! They furry and cute but smell really really bad! That's kinda evident to me.
(5 years and 3479 days ago)I think that the idea is that the cows are adorable!! But when you go to a cow farm you gotta hold your nose! Well, I like the smell of cow farms. But I think I get it.
