Movie poster style. It just needs the title of the movie and the credits for the actors. The edge of the hole is too smooth compared with the rest of the image.

Nice idea. I think it would have looked better when the background images were blurred a little. No everything in the image is sharp and this takes the focus away from the subject.

That's why trolls are extinct now.. when you are heavy and steaming hot, you should not walk over thin ice (that is what it looks to me: ice with a thin layer of water over it).

Nice image. I'm glad i looked at the SBS to see the amount of work that has gone into this. On my screen it looks a little flat - probably some contrast adjustments could help.

The shadows need some work: they should be less opaque. Shadows on door and wall cannot be a single shape, because the door is further away.

Good idea, i like the darkness. The highres does not look as good as the small image (edges of hands, mirror and the jawbone overlays the clothes).

Some suggestions:
The effect of the filter is not equal in the different parts of the image. Try to make the contrast and sharpness of alle parts in the image roughly equal. If some of the backgroundparts are sharper, or contain a lot more detail than the foreground objects, than you can blur these parts.
I should also have made a color correction on the background to a warmer color.
Instead of applying a filter to the whole image i would have added a layer with noise or grain (with multiply of screen mode).

Nice idea and creative use of the sources. At first, i thought you used some space image, but it turned out to be a jellyfish. Only the white edge on the natural bridge is a little disturbing.

The 'vehicle' seems to break as it goes through the portal, because of the different angles of the submarine and the other part. Aprt from that, it looks great. I can imagine this on the cover of a SF book.

Well done. I like the insects body for the texture and colors. My only concern is the legs: i think the legs on the back side (for the viewers) should be darker. For me, all legs are on the front side. Apart from that: top entry.

Interesting shape, but i have a little trouble 'reading' the image. I don't make the connection with 'space'. It's more like some glass jewel to me.

Good thinking and nice composition, but it needs some work to look convincing. The left edge of the sketch book looks strange. The small strip of paper should not be visible at all. And the color of the sketch does not match the color of the pencil tip.

The image looks a little flat on my monitor and i guess it will improve when you increase the contrast with levels or curves. Also, the background is lit by strong directed light, but the figures (esp. the girl) are more evenly lit.
On the happy side, it is a well composed image and the relative propertions seems to be ok. So, i'll be happy to see you can make it even better.
