elemare: Pen tool.
elemare: Gaussian blur.
elemare: Hmmm... two things: ability to improve my work through the insight of others, and chance to help others improve their work.
elemare: Defensive "artists" - we all have an opinion about what looks good and what works. From a technical execution perspective, some opinions are more valuable than others (and, in fact, sometimes much more valuable than your own) - open your mind, shut your mouth, and learn something. Scaring off or denigrating critiques by being a bully doesn't improve the quality of your mediocre work.
elemare: Many!
elemare: Too much. Never enough. It's why I come and go. :\
elemare: Adobe CS6
elemare: Those that demonstrate thought, creativity, and care in execution.
elemare: Idol? LMAO - the minute you make someone an idol, he trips over his shoelaces. Best to remember we are all beautifully, imperfectly human, equally capable of great good and much damage, depending on our choices.
elemare: In a primitive way, back in 2006, I think. I was a member of the original site, PhotoshopTalent.com, and learned (still learn) volumes from amazing artists.
