there is nothing wrong with being inspired by something. the "go green" idea itself has been done a lot of times before. as for the image itself, it's flawless as far as i can see so high marks from me!

i agree with the description but it's a bit too much for me personally (the color) so if you have the vibrance option (not sure when it was introduced in ps), lower it a little bit. if not, contrast or even reduce the saturation by a few points.

hmm.. something doesn't look right.. ok. the thing is that it looks like it's in front of the hand, not in or above it. if you still have the fingers on a seperate layer, put them behind the ball layer and play a little bit with the colors and blur maybe. just so it'll appear that the ball is somewhere in the hand area

i like the gold-ish color of the buildings. but fix the edges and sharpen the city a bit

nice idea. but have you considered putting the hands one next to another instead of infront of another and rotating both a bit (or even warping) around the planet? also, put some reflection on the hands.

nice camo! just clone out that black artifact on the top of the image (kinda pops out in high res) and it continues to the right around that little cloud. also, the white line on the top of the truck jumps out of it a bit so cut that out too

upload a high res please! also, i don't think blur or smudge are a wise choice when dealing with chrome, but if it works, fine

definetly clean up those edges (*pen tool*) also, too bad that the source image has such a strong motion blur because the reflection has none so it looks somewhat weird, but that wasn't really up to you so nevermind
