(5 years and 3151 days ago)Have to agree ... glad you posted as did a very good job!
(5 years and 3151 days ago)I agree with pixelkid. It is against the rules to copy someone's work but that's usually very obvious, It's not unusual to have similar ideas and some sources evoke the same ideas to many people. This is very well done and I'm glad that you posted it as well!
(5 years and 3152 days ago)well done..
(5 years and 3152 days ago)No need to feel awkward, author! This happens all the time. It's happened to me as well. Glad you posted it. It's different and you used different techniques etc. It is in fact a completely separate entry by a separate author. Having said that...I really like what you have done. Extremely well done blending and shading. This is not an easy task. Thanks for posting and good luck. .
(5 years and 3152 days ago)Think this 'pin' bottle would rather have it called "Gutter Cola"....ya know? Good job author!
(5 years and 3165 days ago)Great bottle you made, author!
(5 years and 3166 days ago)Great thinking author and fantastic execution...well done
(5 years and 3166 days ago)Excellent!
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Nice obra!
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Nice obra!
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Very nice nice job!
(5 years and 3167 days ago)This is very striking author, and if this would have been available to me when I worked for GRAPHIK's (it has since become Wentworth Galleries) I would have sold the living (BLEEP) out of it in all the art deco Condos in South Beach... it's very wonderful and has a magnificent feel.. GOOD LUCK.. (think about sending the finished image to a banner printer.. (the stuff they do for sport teams) 5 feet tall would be awesome... (Imagine this in the entryway of one of the erte' hotels near the Fountain Bleau... WOOO HOOOO)
(5 years and 3167 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 3171 days ago)congratulations...
(5 years and 3172 days ago)Congrats for 2nd
(5 years and 3172 days ago)Congrats for your second place, Elliejane!
(5 years and 3172 days ago)Very clever, and yes, cool elevator. Would sure make an interesting Christmas tree bauble, especially if it lit up!
(5 years and 3172 days ago)I agree with pixelkid ... very interesting concept and great depth of field creation. Well done!
(5 years and 3172 days ago)Really creative and love the overall feel. I like how you didn't just duplicate the ones in the background...you changed them up a bit to make them different. Nice attention to detail.
(5 years and 3175 days ago)Neat idea = )
(5 years and 3176 days ago)very nice interesting work...gl author
(5 years and 3176 days ago)congratulations...
(5 years and 3177 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 3178 days ago)congratulations...
(5 years and 3178 days ago)Congrats, well done
(5 years and 3179 days ago)Best entry IMO, great job.
(5 years and 3179 days ago)very nice work, love the idea. Only thing I would have suggested (if I would have seen this in time ) is to lessen that pinkish look on the fingers, to try to blend it more in the rest of the image. Cool stuff!
(5 years and 3180 days ago)Very nice work on this, Always love the Mary Poppins Bag effect, reminds me when she pulls the lamp out of the bag and in this case you can pull the Person out of the cup
(5 years and 3181 days ago)very very nice work...gl
(5 years and 3182 days ago)Nice job! I like the shadow the wrist and hand are casting on the surface of the coffee. My only thought is that the droplets on the hand could be shaded a dark brownish color to help realism.
(5 years and 3182 days ago)EDIT: I think it looks better...but perhaps not all need to be the same brown. Vary it up a bit since light refracts differently at different angles. Sorry to nitpick with all these suggestions...just like the image and would like to see it do well.
Nice... I think it would be much better if the "... wouldn't you?" was curved to match the curvature of the cup... and yes I'll have one... long black please
(5 years and 3182 days ago)Yeah, I might (dive in that is). Nicely done, good luck.
(5 years and 3182 days ago)Well done, nice result. The hand image is from a it less quality than the coffee cup, but that's a nitpick. Good luck!
(5 years and 3182 days ago)WOW, that looks painful!!!
(5 years and 3187 days ago)Very creative use of the source!
(5 years and 3187 days ago)Thanks for the hi res, I can really see the image now and I like what you have done! I have watched as you work on this throughout the contest and you have done lovely job ... this final image is wonderful ...great work and I agree with pixelkid ... very different take on the source. Really like this one!
(5 years and 3187 days ago)I like that you used the source image in a different and unusual way. Great job.
(5 years and 3188 days ago)Yeah, something different. I like it. I would like to look at it on high resolution.. Gl
(5 years and 3188 days ago)Good idea, but could use a high res image as well.
(5 years and 3189 days ago)It's more discernable as a woman, but the LH edge could still use a little more emphasis of contour, perhaps just a bit lighter along the shoulder, since the back is in darkness?
(5 years and 3189 days ago)She should also have some light along the edge of her neck on the LH side along with the shoulder edge. Her head is somewhat floating...
Overall, the whisker wings are a great idea, I like them alot!
Too dark overall - I thought it was a flower of some sort until you explained it was a woman's back...It's so dark, you can't see where the "wing" on the RH side is attached, or if it even IS attached to anything.
(5 years and 3189 days ago)Great, imaginative concept, just too hard to see what it is.
