few minor lighting issues here but overall look is great.Play a bit with levels and maybe with photo filter on this 2 nearest dog heads.Or better,add maybe 2 or 3 adjustment layers.My advice for sure is one of them be dark brown color layer with low opacity,this will made blending better.

Very good using of dodge and burn tool to create the shape of the dog...But in high resolution there is few hard edges issues,especially around the eyes,mouth and the nose.Use smudge tool or blur tool,but just a little bit to make those areas a bit softer...Good luck author

Maybe u can do this:select shape of the male from the image,create new layer,place it below man image and fill it with black.Then,using distort tool position the shadow.After that lower the opacity of the shadow,and then go to gaussian blur,and blur shadow a bit...I hope this could help u...
