nostalgia, pretty good photo, bravo
(5 years and 2581 days ago)Nicely done. I wish that we had the high res to get a better look for judging.
(5 years and 2581 days ago)Now that you mention it....LOL. *song now firmly planted in brain*
(5 years and 2582 days ago)The first thing that comes to mind when I see this is the theme from "Sanford and Sons." Nice find.
(5 years and 2582 days ago)I like this !
(5 years and 2985 days ago)nice photo and use of the cup.
(5 years and 2987 days ago)I agree with CMYK here
(5 years and 2988 days ago)Please post source links.
(5 years and 2988 days ago)Edges need a lot of work...instead of using the magic wand, use the pen tool or lasso tool to extract objects cleanly.
shame it's a little soft
(5 years and 3003 days ago)good shot..
(5 years and 3003 days ago)hahah owww :P nice
(5 years and 3003 days ago)Funny, good photo
(5 years and 3006 days ago)nice idea..and i do agree.. the main subject is a blown out.. there are ways to correct it in camera, like changing the exposure compensation in a drop down menu. bracketing the shot, using a fill flash for the regular boats, waiting for an overcast day,or differnt part of the day (early am later pm)....and i'm sure there is others... overall it is a great concept and pretty funny... thanks for sharing the photo
(5 years and 3006 days ago)funny
(5 years and 3007 days ago)That's what happens when you done meter the highlight. But to be fair, metering the "swan" would make the interior of the boats too dark?
(5 years and 3009 days ago)I agree with Friiskiwi, but it's a cute idea
(5 years and 3010 days ago)the highlights are too blown, hard to see that it's a boat.
(5 years and 3012 days ago)A little soft on focus but nice pose.
(5 years and 3015 days ago)fantastic.. blue is blue
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Beautiful tones and colours, not to sure if I'd call it back light.
(5 years and 3040 days ago)Looks like a painting, nice
(5 years and 3040 days ago)Like the others said... looks like a nice area judging from some of those brand names on the awnings
(5 years and 3044 days ago)Great Job capturing so many textures and tones...
(5 years and 3045 days ago)Well done, great tones especially on a wet day.
(5 years and 3046 days ago)I love the composition and the full range of values in this. The numerous shades of gray make it something to look at and appreciate for awhile, rather than just glance at and move on. Well done!
(5 years and 3046 days ago)Nice picture ! It looks like the old time.
(5 years and 3046 days ago)Congrats dear.
(5 years and 3054 days ago)stunning scenery
(5 years and 3055 days ago)We are so used to see this place in color that to see it in black and white is very surprising !
(5 years and 3055 days ago)Very nice. This looks great in B&W
(5 years and 3055 days ago)goood one....
(5 years and 3056 days ago)Greatly taken, one of my favorites!
(5 years and 3056 days ago)Great use of black and white, good luck!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)very nice color and Contrast....
(5 years and 3062 days ago)lovely detail
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Author, the CLONE tool works great on finishing edges if the image has been flattened, if not, an erase tool set at 80% in a sharp edge setting can do the trick.. ,you can also use the BLUR tool if the edges are super tiny but have a lot of sharp edges, blur will soften and blend..

(5 years and 3062 days ago)to hunt down Outer debris I usually use the STROKE setting and erase the bad stuff and then shut off the Stroke tool after I've cleaned..
Lots of other suggestions may follow I hope.. (I really have never understood photoshop that much, it's all quite Greek to me, but I got the basics).. Good Luck
Another case of a really good composition and idea, needing a few tweaks to take it to a whole other couple of levels: arm is a bit too "cartoony" compared to the rest of the image (needs something like the specular hilites that are present in the face), the blurry top edge of the sunglasses don't match the sharp bottom edge, the character's mohawk kind of ends abruptly in a squared off angle at the very top of his head ... I'll shut up now.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)Very nice party!
(5 years and 3065 days ago)Good luck author!
Fun job, author! This is really cool. I agree with DanielaOwergoor...she has a good eye!
(5 years and 3066 days ago)Party time.A good mood
(5 years and 3066 days ago)This is so .... punk!
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Good idea, author, good job too.
But looking at hi-res, It could take better care of the edges... IMO.
However, your job is pretty cool.
Good luck
That is sooooo cool.
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Interesting concept and transformation.
(5 years and 3068 days ago)clever and very well done
good luck author
(5 years and 3070 days ago)I have to agree with CMYK46, step 3 has the look that could have been preserved in the 4th step if you'd have wanted to have the smoke trail spiral around like you did -- still, this is a great composition
(5 years and 3070 days ago)Nice to see something different.
(5 years and 3070 days ago)this is just SUPER!!! good luck
(5 years and 3071 days ago)IMO Step 3 looks better. The HDR effect gives the whites a yellow cast. (Why the hairy smoke?)...
(5 years and 3071 days ago)This is fantastic!. How did you get the colors behind the trees to come out so colorful?
(5 years and 3072 days ago)Where are the horses?
