It does say land or cityscape, nothing against night photos, IMO.

There has to be at least 2 sides that are black, this one doesn't quite make it.

I think the author means the washing on the line is also made from wood.

Easy to see that this is feathers, even without the title.

You may want to look at the white balance in this, and crop it a little different.

What a great find, Image could use some work though, try increasing contrast and colours. This one is begging for some HDR treatment.
