Quite nice, but I would have lost the knife to get closer and used a reflector to lighten the shadows and used a lower angle. If you haven't yet eaten it you could try a re-shoot.

The shadows are too dark IMO, you have lost too much detail.

Very Asian, but the lanterns seems too light and the OOF ones on the right are distracting.

Lovely detail and light, but I feel this would have been better on a white pate, the blue somehow makes it less appetizing, you could just reduce the blue with hue/saturation in Photoshop.

Great light and detail, I just wish you had been a little lower, or propped the engine up, I keep worrying that it is going to fall over.

Technically this is very good, good light and very sharp. However there is no feeling in the eye, just a very starring eye, I suspect it is yours, nothing wrong with that.

I honestly thought this was in the OTT contest, her skin is a very strange colour. Was this taken on a camera phone?

It's certainly on theme, but not very interesting, Perhaps cropping it to just leave the interesting lower left, about 2/3 of the original image, There is also a very soft area in the bottom right? Lens problem or a dirty lens? Good Luck

A harsh flash rarely gives a great photo. The shadows on the left also detract from the photo. I'm not convinced that this portrays 'obesity' the meal looks quite healthy and if the person is fat, we don't see enough of him/her to tell.

good light and it looks sharp, but it would pay to let us see the full resoloution.

Even without a high res you can tell that this is very pixelated, I guess it is only a small part of the original image, that has made you loose the sharpness.

Black and whites are lovely, but this one doesn't quite make it, Contrast is usually a good thing in a B/W but in this the the highlights are too light. The focus is not the best, looks like a bit of camera shake to me.
