Not sure about dangerous, they are sea eggs, or Kine, quite edible.
I think you have made the contrast too high, you have lost all detail in the Kina.

I'm afraid there are lots of limitations;
What Tools/Alterations Can't I use?

As a general rule, you should stay away from selecting, masking or brushing parts of the picture. Tools to avoid are:

- 6.19.: Brushes in any flavor
- 6.20.: Clonestamp
- 6.21.: Patch
- 6.22.: Masks and any selections (magic wand, marquee, lasso)
- 6.23.: Adding or moving objects manually
- 6.24.: Liquify/warp
- 6.25.: Vignettes, watermarks or frames and borders
- 6.26.: Sketchy effects or filters that alter the original photo significantly
- 6.27.: Copy/Paste

Keep in mind that

Lovely story and photo, but I don't think you can do this kind of selective desaturation, It might pay to provide a SBS, if you have done it in a way that is allowed.

So cute, reminds me of our first pig, we called him Porkchops, and he thought he was a cow.
