I can see this is going to be an other competition where we will have lots of arguments. Suggesting a theme isn't easy, but I do wish they had somebody who would read through the suggestions, and think how they could be clarified, and less open to misunderstandings.

The laughter is perfect, the harsh flash does spoil the quality a little.

I feel it's on topic, we have real laughter. I would have cropped some of the photo behind the girl. As for explaining what people are laughing at, I suspect many of us have taken photos of people laughing, which is why we took the photo in the first place, but we would not be able to remember why. This is not a contest, where we in a week can go out and look for laughing people.
