It's a lovely photo, but personally I would lighten it a little and drop the saturation a little too, to make it more delicate.

Dear author, you are quite right, I was just giving my interpretation, and I didn't say it was off topic.

It's a lovely photo, but perhaps not quite what the contest was intending. Not saying it's off theme, but I feel more of a portrait type photo were expected.
