For me this is only a reflective moment.. and very far from loneliness feelings. When I go to the mountains I love to be like this image... not for loneliness feelings, but for a moment of connection with nature. This contest is very complicated to give an opinion, each one has one loneliness experience and point of view.

Even though there's a lot of other trees, they seem to border more than distract from the lone tree. Somehow, the mountains seem to make it feel more lonely. Nicely done!

Beautiful color! Just my opinion, but the background seems to take away from this tree. Maybe a more shallow DOF would've been better.
