Very nice tattoo. Good luck
(5 years and 1025 days ago)Nice collection! The birder in me is impressed you got such a clear shot of the kildeer.
(5 years and 1026 days ago)Achhhh you are not alone. My eye has been caught by those dried tomatoes in the foreground YUM. It looks like it is 20 minutes after 7 according to your watch and you have been on the phone all day? The way the intensity/and concentration of the model has been taken is really excellent providing us with story of how centered this individul is to the task at hand. Is there really such a thing as a guilty pleasure? I love the story here, well done, nicely cropped yet showing others who are near this girl but she remains cocooned.
(5 years and 1026 days ago)OOOps. I see I wrote a comment on this shot and it does not show it here so I will try to repeat what I said. I don't know how this happened.
(5 years and 1028 days ago)I love your point of view and it really makes the photograph and brings a smile to my face as I can imagine you shooting this. The black car in the center must have made you mad for it obscures the whole point of the image. The strength of the shot is is your low POV.
This is such a clean , well shot image that causes the viewer to get lost in all the detail. The predominantly warm hues of copper throughout also hold our eye and how appropriate that the hair of both humans contains that hue as well....serendipity, yes! Well framed. Nicely caught but it is too bad the humans are not communicating with the viewer. Did you try to catch their attention?
(5 years and 1028 days ago)Sacrilege! Thank God it's not French wine...
(5 years and 1029 days ago)This is eye popping work. Not only are his tatoos great to look at but your post processing further punches out the tats. When I see tats like this I fast forward to when he is 70 and his skin is sagging, what an abstract that will make. Very nice work and a pleasure to review.
(5 years and 1030 days ago)Sun is your best friend here, it makes the whole image wonderful. Nice to see you
(5 years and 1032 days ago)Very nice one, Its like I wanna dip my finger in that tiny water
(5 years and 1032 days ago)Its like a very talented kid made a very intricate sand art on the beach, I love it
(5 years and 1032 days ago)I love the way how she looks so effortless and taking her time
Good shot!
(5 years and 1032 days ago)Looks delicious, you're making me hungry
(5 years and 1034 days ago)That is good to know that term, mysophobia as many have fear of germs. You have shown a brilliant photograph of someone who most likely has OCD on top of mysophobia. This image is full of wonderful story. Technically well done, sharp through and through so much so that we can see you in the reflection. Clarity is very good indeed.
(5 years and 1036 days ago)Oh yes, life can be tough! What a heartwarming photograph and it illicits an "awww" from the viewers. I checked this image in high resolution and it is blurry, you need to be sharp on the main focal point , the child. The emotion has been caught at peak making this shot strong.
(5 years and 1036 days ago)Congrats Vibeke, well done
(5 years and 1037 days ago)Now that is a book I could use! I really like the shadow light play and your eyes are sharp. The diagonal of the blinds playing on the canvas truly makes for a remarkable photograph. Excellent.
(5 years and 1037 days ago)Congratulations
(5 years and 1037 days ago)congrats for winning,is a good photo
(5 years and 1037 days ago)In high res this is sharp as "a woman's tongue". Tongarirro, loved it. Great shot.
(5 years and 1038 days ago)Great creativity. How did you do this?
(5 years and 1038 days ago)Nice to see you in something other than a small icon! I love the effect of the blinds and know how difficult it is to make sure that eyes are not in the shadows.
(5 years and 1040 days ago)Nice one
(5 years and 1040 days ago)Nice shot (some light reading?)
(5 years and 1040 days ago)Love the title
(5 years and 1041 days ago)She may be blue now, but with all that Cetaphil, her complexion will be fabulous! The white lettering makes a great contrast to the blue hoodie.
(5 years and 1042 days ago)How lovely to meet you in this self portrait contest. This upload speaks volumes about you there on the Tongarriro Pass crossing (am I correct?). I like the POV not only are you high up, the POV takes us further and higher and you knew what you were doing artistically. I do think the photo is soft, however, I looked on the hi res and you are as sharp as a pin. The hikers in the background invite us into the depth of your image and the story is flushed out very nicely.
(5 years and 1042 days ago)congrsts on winning
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats for winning this one
(5 years and 1044 days ago)I like the straight lines , the feeling of balance, the gorgeous colour palette and how he is shyly absorbed into his work. Lovely contrast too. Too bad about that orange overhead light reflection over the salmon.
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Nice relaxed photo of gentleman enjoying his smoke. Good tonal ranges. Your portrait of this man, looking out of the frame creates a mystery and we wonder what it is he is looking at.
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Interesting isn't it how the children are attracted to this juggler and the adults attention is elsewhere. It is good that you caught this for it makes the photo.
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats again
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats Vibeke
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats on this win!
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats on this win!
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Big congrats, this was a great winner, I loved the shot.
(5 years and 1044 days ago)Congrats again Vibeke
(5 years and 1045 days ago)Congrats Vibeke
(5 years and 1045 days ago)You captured the allure of a street performer. The children are enthralled and the adults are oblivious.
(5 years and 1045 days ago)Great idea. Congrats
(5 years and 1045 days ago)Wow what a great shot! The blue is really blue and I like your title. Now, have a look around the head of the girl and young man. See that very black mark? You need to use a hard brush and paint out more blue, right to the edge of her head and his head. Also there is an incongruity within the lines of the deck. Try to bring in the harmony of the background throughout the image. Yes you need to paint around those white posts and lines. I know it's a lot of work, but in the end it is worth it.
(5 years and 1045 days ago)Even lying on a stretcher, she continues singing, microphone in hand
(5 years and 1045 days ago)I really like tha angle and the focal point is strong. Nice softness that makes the background whisper to us that books are here to stay.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)I cannot help but feel that this is a staged photograph, not that there is anything wrong with staging images...Nat Geo photogs do it all the time. But this image gives the viewer an uneasy feeling that the attention is on the book and not on the child. Technically a nice photograph.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)Shows the love this little one has for books. She is totally absorbed and we are drawn into the story. This is a good snapshot.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)I never knew the name of this hairy beast. Love the precise sharpness shown however the little tree gets a bit lost in the similar looking surroundings...a vignette may help to pop him out more.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)This is so much better viewed in hi-res and I'm glad I looked there. Sharp, clear focus, no blow outs (good exposure) and a luscious bokeh in dark hues which really pops out this yellow new rose. The importance of the rose is clearly heard and seen.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)Mr. P. that is a heavy dose of Prednisone! Love this post as it tells us a lot about Mr. P who happens to be grumpy, with all that prednisone in him it's no wonder and 60 grams of Codeine, gosh he must be constipated too, surprised there is no medication like Dulcolax around. Kidding aside, this is a well taken photograph, the book is the icing on the cake.
(5 years and 1046 days ago)A cropping right would have erased the feet
(5 years and 1046 days ago)Nice , it is sharp, the pov engages us and the tonal values are good. Light source easily seen and complimentary dof.
