it must be the gaussion blurring that makes it look like it is painted. it is weird because even the mask is lopsided. this is a great job, being a real photo.

I've been wrong before, but I just don't get how you did this. When I looked at the high resolution, which now seems to be gone for some reason, it sure looked like this was all painted on. It didn't even look like any of it was a photo. How can there be a torch behind the mask if the models head is behind the mask?

Nice one. Love the eye contact in this. Reminds me of when my son met my grandmother (his great-grandmother). One of my favorite memories as she passed away shortly afterward.
