@Nem, I chose to add comments to the entries instead of by modmail because to do that I would have had to remove the entries. I chose to do it this way because 1) I can, 2) it wouldn't cause loss of votes due to removal. Now as for this entry, yes... it was obvious and not really needed but if i allowed this entry to go without an SBS and required others to have one would that be fair????

Isn't it nice to see an SBS in photography then? See a wonderfully executed shot and perhaps try it yourself sometime. To lean from other that have a few years of experience behind them...

I'm certain the reason the suggester of the contest guidelines had something in mind with that clause, perhaps something like, the reason Pxl was created and why MANY of the members are here..."TO LEARN"...why not an SBS explaining some of the 'magic' so others may see an image that inspires them and read a bit on the authors' procedures for taking the shot. Hey, simply, if you desire to keep your techniques 'hidden, then by all means, it's a free site, you are frre to comply with the guidelines or simply not enter; whatever. I for one would rather teach and instruct, I do it all the time. I've learned a lot here mainly by taking the time to PM authors asking "How did you do that? It's amazing!" Maybe a newer person won't have to courage to ask. SBS's are fine for the Photoshop entries,and many learn from that too.

Looks great to me. Saw the SBS too. Not that I know much about photography -very little, if anything at all- but IMHO, this image is a bright example of what makes a good photographer
