I agree with vipinm.. the floor is just to busy looking, no matter what the story is, it's not recognizable as stove burners.... Voters will also notice this; you might want to rethink/alter.
(5 years and 2726 days ago)Just a friendly, creative criticism... no offense meant...good luck.
I could be wrong but I think it is Hisler with an 'el'..(Not that it matters)
(5 years and 2812 days ago)Crazy cool creeepy snakes...
Interesting about the alignments made by your classmate too. It just goes to show that anything can be matched to make anything seem predicted.
Good luck.
Beautiful,...just beautiful.
(5 years and 2812 days ago)Very interesting... might I suggest making the whites of the eyes a bit less intense; dropping the transparency or the saturation (like the teeth) might help this look even more convincing...
(5 years and 2846 days ago)Only saying this as a constructive criticism... positive intent.
cheers, good luck.
Congratulations on your SILVER trevordsouza7... keep it up!
(5 years and 2848 days ago)cheers.
If you were to put the guy in front and the guy in back out of focus it would really punch up the visual of them being miniature toy players..
(5 years and 2853 days ago)If you do a search for "tilt pan" you will get a better visual reference and explanation.
Good luck, this one is one of my faves of the bunch.
Good luck in the voting author.
(5 years and 2854 days ago)Looks much more grounded now.... more than happy to help.
(5 years and 2858 days ago)The pic I added saved me a thousand words...hahaha.
It does, however, look a bit floaty with the reflection slightly off. May I suggest you move the reflection just up and to the right a tad... it's only a matter of pixels, but it may help; and maybe experiment with reducing the opacity just a little bit... (The degree of opacity will actually be the thing that dictates how shiny your floor is..)
cheers
Cute is right....I just have a (hopefully) helpful criticism.
(5 years and 2858 days ago)The perspective issues are being created by the floor being at a different angle than the car. The car persp. is actually 'shallow' while the floor is 'deep'.
If you draw a straight line from the close rear wheel to the same spot on the far rear wheel, then compare it with the line of the floor board you will see what I mean. The floor can be adjusted by either using the perspective transform tool, or by simply squashing it with the transform tool... You know which one is best once you try each....
I hope you take this only as a positive comment and not anything negative.
Here's a pic of that may explain it better....hope I'm not breaking any rules with this.... it just helps explain it better than words..

The sun is reflecting onto the moon and then reflecting onto the scene, so flipping the moon isn't really necessary. Flipping the moon would indicate that both moon and scene are being lit by the sun.
(5 years and 2915 days ago)Just my opinion, no offense meant CMYK.
Plus if you flip it, the Northeast Oceanus Procellarum would be backwards and the phase would be all wrong....hahaha just kidding, no idea what I'm talking about there.
Good luck.
Just my opinion, but I think the fish on the left would look better in the foreground as it would help the visual depth of the piece... It is titled Fish Island so it would be nice to see an entire fish... again, just my opinion, but if the fish are upside down, people will think they are dead; art shouldn't need a explanation for it to make sense.
(5 years and 2915 days ago)Imagine this piece hanging in a gallery with no place for a "swimming upside down" comment; people are going to think they are dead and that the island is some sort of fish afterlife.
Nicely put together piece regardless of my opinion.
Very nice... my favourite so far.
(5 years and 2923 days ago)If you squint, the face on the block with the letter A on it disappears.
(5 years and 2923 days ago)I don't know if the 3D program lit this for you, but a bit of artistic license might make this look a bit stronger if that surface was lightened a bit, so as to read it better. (not so we can read the letter, but so that it reads as a block.)
Then again, it might just be my monitor... Good luck in the contest.
Congrats on your win...really well deserved.
(5 years and 2923 days ago)Beautiful, great lighting and composition. Well deserved win.
(5 years and 2923 days ago)Nice... I could only get 6... Is there one under the "pxleyes.com", by chance?
