Oh man that is revolting...well done, but DISGUSTING. I can't look at it ARGH!!
(5 years and 3600 days ago)Author, if you have to write such a lengthy explanation just to prove people that it's good, then is it really?
(5 years and 3600 days ago)Maybe delete the hair from the mask. It makes it look quite unnrealistic. Not bad otherwise. Also, if possible, it would make it more realistic if you were to either make the glasses run to his ears or delete them completely.
(5 years and 3600 days ago)Sorry about the problems with the sources but otherwise, I really like the picture. Well done!
(5 years and 3600 days ago)Looks nice...I like it! Good work!
(5 years and 3600 days ago)I agree with Langstrum on the fact that some mouths appear a tad too distorted (it's a tricky problem to fix, I'm sure), but I really like how you made the mouths twirl into a spiral, rather than just placing one inside another. It's a effectively dizzying representation of the droste. Good luck! Witholding my vote in case you fix the distortion problem.
(5 years and 3601 days ago)Hmm not bad. Alot of photoshop brushes, I presume? An SBS would be great.
(5 years and 3601 days ago)I see many strips of lion heads that go on infinitely, but that just isn't a very good representation of the droste to me, whether it's correct or not. Sorry, this is in my honest opinion.
(5 years and 3601 days ago)Sorry, but this is pretty much a replica of the photo featured on the wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Tunnels_of_Time.jpg
(5 years and 3601 days ago)The photos should really be set inside each other, rather than on top of one another.
(5 years and 3601 days ago)I just tried doing this for real again last night--even if a mirror is pressed flat against your face, there still is a little more space inbetween But, yes, as it progresses, it becomes very condesnsed as the picture displays.
(5 years and 3601 days ago)Sorry, but I agree with CMYK. Even if it IS there, it's extremely hard to see. And I still don't see it.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Oooh nice one, I like it. Reminds me of H.P. Lovecraft's Shub-Niggurath. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shub-Niggurath
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Haha yes, actually, I have done that before. Realisticly, it's good. I meant that it was just a bit overwhelming at a first galnce. Gl, author.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Well, I already knew how to do that so I'm afraid that I didn't learn very much.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Very nice! Good job! The frog's expression is priceless.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Why did you change the background? I actually liked it even better before.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Quite a nice effect, but my first impression was that it seemed a bit crowded--maybe just a tad too many layers. Perhaps you could try spacing the layers slightly apart towards the front, then condensing them further back...? Not sure if this would fix it.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Nice concept but, yes, badly pixelated. It would be nicer in a better resolution.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Holes, I suppose. Not bad! Twilight comes to mind for some reason lol.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Very cute idea! I'd reccomend doing a bit more touchups around the boy as he still has a bit of a white outline. Unless that's on purpose...? Gj anyway, and gl.
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Excellent work! Very clever!
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Awesome work!!! Very realistic!!
(5 years and 3602 days ago)Nice, but isn't this a bit of a copy off the first entry here?
(5 years and 3603 days ago)I dunno...some parts of it look like a bit of a mess. Like the teeth.\
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Oh okay...
(5 years and 3603 days ago)The blood looks quite unnrealistic and it looks like the woman is eating the stake...also, I'd agree to try what Nator suggests.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Hmm I don't know what it was then that bugs me :p. Ah! Perhaps a bit of a focus blur would make this nicer? Not sure though, just a suggestion to try.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)It's true that you can't SEE the inifinity, but it still is. In inifinity, you can never see the end, even though you still know that it's there.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Clever one! The crowd just looks a little overshadowed and perhaps a bit cartoony. Don't know if this could be fixed with a better crowd picture.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Whoa very nice!! Yes, I agree with nator, otherwise, awesome!
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Very nice idea, but I agree with Langstrum.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Nice! Good work with the lettering!
(5 years and 3603 days ago)I agree with everyone here. Nice idea, just fix the execution a little.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)It's very well made but I fail to see the "inifinity" effect, since I can clearly see the end. it seems more like just like a very nice abstract painting.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)VERY nice, indeed! Hansel and Gretel come to mind, for some reason.
(5 years and 3603 days ago)Wait how is this your first attempt? You did a ton of other entries...?
(5 years and 3604 days ago)First attempts are always difficult. Don't give up!
(5 years and 3604 days ago)Picture is well done--I especially like the box's reflection in the table. My only complaint would be that the box style and lettering seems a bit too simple, maybe? That's just me being really picky.
(5 years and 3604 days ago)Blending is good, but you can clearly see the end of it. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the dorste effect supposed to be an illusion of inifinity?
(5 years and 3604 days ago)This is extremely clever...very well done!
(5 years and 3605 days ago)Beautiful!! Awesome work, one my favourite here so far.
(5 years and 3606 days ago)Oooohh creepy...nicely done, except I wonder if the piercing of the skulls can be made more realistic.
(5 years and 3606 days ago)Nice concept!
(5 years and 3606 days ago)Very nice effect....I love the colors, and how everything is sort of desaturated and ominous. God luck!
(5 years and 3606 days ago)Awwww!!! Very creative! Good one!
