The drop shadow, combined with the weird background, make it look like a cardboard cutout placed in front of another piece of cardboard. There is no depth to the image.

The long feathers hanging from the ears are unrealistic, and the background is needlessly distracting. A few tweaks would make this a lot better.

SBS stands for STEP BY Step. You will see this when you upload your image..

you need to upload some steps of how you make your image.

If your not sure, explore some entries. it is the 4th blue button under the images. next to the hiRES. PRess it and explore how some others provide sbs's and what they are.

NOTE: This is important to know and understand. ALL /MOST entries need to have SBS provided inorder for them not to be removed from the contest.

I agree with Ichappel in all points. The skier is also to much out of focus compared to the rest of the image. It's not motion blur, just out of focus. May want to resize the skier and put some motion blur on him.

Look cool though overall and it's a good idea.

Might want to check your scale, the skier seems rather small. Cool looking picture though.

Great idea, but I'd reposition the red planet in the background, making it much larger and higher in position. As is, it takes away from the battle, by looking like the one fighter is standing on it.

you can either use "Eraser" tool to slowly erase along the edges or use "selection" tool
then add a feather (low amount) ,then delete to have soft edge.

move the planet further from his legs.. add shading to the planet to make it look like a sphere

You can use the blur tool with your mouse.

I think the desat adds to the 'story' of the title - maybe could have done some desat on the front pews and bottom of the stained glass, but overall, a very creative idea and good chop.
