Very atmospheric scene......I like the lighting I would say its pretty close, as there would be some indirect bouncing of light.

I think the light is coming from a whole in the ceiling =) nice work here.

I don't mind really the light (source) being a bit 'magical', it's a fantasy image anyways. Looks good and there is no major flaw anyways. The dog could maybe use a bit of that pointillism filter to blend it in with the guy and the background a bit better.

awesome and well done... You may want to crop out the dead area of black on the left side.. I know you have that great rock at the bottom but if you cropped that side out.. the story would really POP!!! (this is all IMHO... great job author and good luck)
