Bravo, bravo!
(5 years and 2803 days ago)Lovely choice & execution!
(5 years and 2848 days ago)Cut out the letters using pen tool, ctr+t and warp and google tatoo letters photoshop tutorial, you'll learn more.
(5 years and 2848 days ago)It`s an interesting shape- you could try making those roses step out of the brick, making the wall yellow (ctrl U) and bring more color in the entry. I would insist on enhancing the roses, since the source has nice colors.
(5 years and 2864 days ago)It would be fun having a heart-shaped acorn with a key hole.
(5 years and 2864 days ago)Wow! Nice dedication! IMO it would be hotter to arrange the binary code in the shape of a heart, or something obviously related to love It will have more impact.
(5 years and 2864 days ago)Trigger happy! Congrats.
(5 years and 2878 days ago)Good one.
(5 years and 2909 days ago)Start by copying photos and tracing the perspective lines on top. If you do that a couple of time, you'll get how it works.
(5 years and 2909 days ago)There are 2 laws of making a good drawing: perspective & values. That means horizon&light. I say this here, hoping your competitors read too : the first line in any drawing must be the horizon line, the second one must be direction of the light.
(5 years and 2911 days ago)Besides that:
Rubjerg Knude! Thanks for sharing, i really like that lighthouse now. You could invest a bit more in details, cause the tower had some nice architecture. Also making texture in drawing it's pretty tough, but i'm sure wonderful things can be achieved by patience.
Keep at it, you'll always find solace in art
Remarkable, Extraordinary, Phenomenal! Fragmenting the chest more, might have increased the metal-feathers effect. Top one, regardless.
(5 years and 2976 days ago)Totally agree with Vinati, this is so original and creative.
(5 years and 2977 days ago)The thing is, it's pretty hard to imagine Bob instead of that woman...
(5 years and 3013 days ago)No, I meant it's pretty hard to make a rainy image with a person if he/she's not already wet. You have to use plastic wrap, paint water dripping, and even overlay some underwear so that the dress looks transparent. It's pretty risky so we can understand people taking already walked paths.
You should check this though, i find it very realistic:

Nice model & nice presentation.
(5 years and 3016 days ago)You said: "I dont really like it when changes are made based on comments" - this site is a place to learn, more than is a place to show off, that's why improvements during the contest are allowed & encouraged .
Nice effect... you could describe the process a bit, like.. overlay + displacement map..for people wanting to learn new stuff.
(5 years and 3017 days ago)Very well done, congrats!
(5 years and 3023 days ago)Very high score cause I like your colors, values and hair which must have taken some time, glad you changed the face too, it looked disproportioned.
(5 years and 3044 days ago)I don't know what's that embryo in a bubble is doing there, cause i think one of those flying jellyfish would be more congruent
Anyways, top work!
Fabulous, well blended fantastic pitoresque mood!
(5 years and 3044 days ago)Very well done author! High-score.
(5 years and 3045 days ago)You know that if instead of that guy you put a chick ( and it should be fairly easy to do so: change face, a bit of warp, a bit of liquify), no one will observe that the fire is unrealistic
(5 years and 3047 days ago)If you then wanna fix the fire, you could try to find a lantern ( like this one : http://www.sxc.hu/photo/500803), and place the fire made out of BG's source in it: it would look more natural, imo.
You have a nice idea and mood here, by the way.
Great job, funny & well done!
(5 years and 3048 days ago)Loved the movie! I would have made thermal silhouettes
(5 years and 3056 days ago)Ok what was it?
(5 years and 3057 days ago)Lovely painting, great stuff! Bravo!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Such a beautiful pic!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Lovely chromatics.
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Frikin awesome, i"m in love with those colors!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Different colors manuka would be even more interesting !
(5 years and 3060 days ago)This one looks so good!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)We only ask for Hi-res to have a better look at your mistakes! MUHAHAHA !
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Just kidding author.
Light is coming from above so you should apply highlights & shadows on the body of the dragon considering that.
Imagine the body of the dragon as a torus and it will be easier to shade it, same with his face.
You can use either dodge/burn, or separate clipping layers with white& black to create values - that's my favorite technique.
Great composition, lovely sky. SBS is well done! .
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Good chop.
(5 years and 3060 days ago)You know you can put a Color Balance layer on top of your lion and reduce the Magenta/Red to make it have the same color as the guy. Make it a clipping mask o the lion's layer.
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Joking, it's an ear.
(5 years and 3060 days ago)You stuck a flashlight in your nose!
(5 years and 3060 days ago)Great pic, it's a footprint.
(5 years and 3060 days ago)I think postcards should be colorful & happy Presuming this is one, I would throw in more vibrant colors.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)A happy entry, try fixing the persp, the rest works pretty well.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Not bad, is this CS5 ?
(5 years and 3062 days ago)So it's Natural Valley ?
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Obviosly the brain! Looks like butto.. I mean the Moon landing, to me, but I might be so wrong
(5 years and 3062 days ago)You ussually pierce your eyebrow cause you think of yourself as a badboy, lol. So I would clone that metal off. You could add more contrast to the background, likr making the right side red, so the opposites would be more contrasting. And you should try dodging the eyebrow of the blonde guy, since that black looks suspicious. Good luck.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)Very nice design!
(5 years and 3063 days ago)Just flip the background and don't forget to place the candy where it was.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)Oh!! I feel bad now, i had disabled animated content and I was only seeing one photo and some description on top. I thought you were slacking, the SBS is ok - my apologies.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)LOL, it's like a Pokemon. Nice design author, but your SBS reminds me of the "How to draw an owl in 2 steps" tutorial:
(5 years and 3064 days ago)http://www.funtoxin.com/cosmos/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/23-183639138.jpg
You could at least make a print screen of the psd file.
It's great that you fixed it author, and nice idea with those waves. It might not make sense for some, but it works compositionally and it's pretty original!
(5 years and 3064 days ago)Btw, you should thumb up Langstrum for taking the time to help you, he deserves that much . ( it's the yellow hand at the right of the comment section- click on it).
Good luck.
Lol @ Driven's comment. We're here to learn and help others, no one's getting b!tched.
(5 years and 3064 days ago)Light is coming from the right so shadows should fall in the left.
Great mood, great BG, great SBS.
(5 years and 3064 days ago)Nice hair texture & colors.
(5 years and 3065 days ago)
