I like the contrasting colors, but i have to agree with jean, you don't need all that background.

Good composition on colors, they stand out.

The usage of the main source seems minimal, but on the other hand it creates your foreground, therefor your sense of depht & completes the composition, which looks wonderfull, btw.

Composition suffers since viewers 1st stop point is the shadow cast on the bench - which has no relevance imo.
A good idea is to Crop your image so that we can only see a part of the Big bench on which the bird is sitting, and the entire small one. Crop it from the right side of the pic to a few cm after the first bench leg.
You don't need 3 parts of your image , and you'll transfor it to a portrait-mode, which is more dynamic than a landscape orientation.

You don't need Hef's face, you only need his robe. That's his trade mark.

I don't wanna be pushy, but you should know that the shadow for a suspended object equals the length of an object when light source is above.
So the dark elipse should be same length as the ufo, and the light elipse same length as the diameter of the bubble ( which is an energy shield, right? ).

Hey author, great work, my gf loves it.
Tentacles' shadow should be united with the main shadow which should be a perfect elipse. Because of the angle of the light you won't see the projection of the upper side.
Imo, it would add a great effect to make a shadow of the bubble as well, use this as reference:

It has a great mood, but there's a perspective issue, imo. Crosses closer should be bigger, further from the viewer should be smaller. I can see there is some difference in dimmensions, but it should be more accentuated, so that it points out the depht. Try it out .

Make a blue overlay over the model, so it blends better. ( create new layer of solid color - blue- right click on it create clipping mask so it only affects the model, Mode: Overlay Opacity-20%- more or less) You could make 2 clipping layers one blue on green so that you have a turquaz overlaying your model.
Your background also has some noise that should be present on the model, so you could either lower her opacity -95-98% or add a noise over.
There's also a masking problem on her hip, use some clone stamp to cover over her human skin :P
