Balls !?! Did you try to make meteorites but not time for motion blur & co, or what's the meaning of those incandescent balls ?
For meteorites try a new layer with motion blur and then transform it and warp it so it looks liek coming from behind and further away.

It's cool, but more contrast wouldn't hurt, in the pics his hair & ribbon are darker than his shirt - in your drawings is not always the case. Also in pics, the guy always has clear highlights ( either on cheek or on his nose), because he's sweaty, they trully shine. If you have a white crayon, you could make this more clear.

Well the ant is blurry- the high-res version of the source should be enought to make it look good in your pic. If you plan to make it look like it moves, add a new layer on top and motion blur it. Play with it's oppacity.
Also add a clipping layer with a blue overlay, over the ant - the colors reflect on shiny surfaces, and so should the sky. Again play with oppacity.
I can see you have some skills of how shadow works since you made that spikes with their tops lightened ( so... good for you ).
I wont lie that this looks good, but i can say that it can look better. Good luck!

In CS4 you can use normal warp just make different selections on that layer and repair them after with clone stamp.
CS5 has some cool features but will eat your memory like popcorn on a movie.

I have to agree with CMYK, you could make the dial embeded in the cell, and that little bar below 1 the of the same texture and blended in the frame of your phone - clone sample after merged layer would do.

Tip: use diff. layers for rain, with diff. motion blur settings (smaller -longer lines).

It looks ok, except that :
1. At the beginning of the river, the water should be flat, not following the form of the book.
2. Since you have a path, that croses the river, you could add a bridge over it, too.
3. You could also try to keep edges to the pages so that the grass is not entirely covering them.

Reminded me of a similar entry ( Burning kiss- i think ) with the same fairy model & concept. The guy used different layers of cracked earth the one underneath was red and it looked like skin was pealing off. Veterans surely know it.
This is cool too, and i'm happy to see it since the old entry died with PST, and the user didn't come back.
But you entitled it: explosive kiss - in explosion the exploded parts either become smaller or stay the same, they don't increase size. I know the idea is from the tutorial with the exploded face, but many people stated that the flaw in concept is that bits shouldn't get bigger.

This way it will look like a platoon is advancing through enemy territory and it would make the image more realistic, cause right now most of the people can see it's the same guy pasted 3 times.
It will also mean you worked harder and bring you higher votes - but that's secondary.
As i said you can use the same guy, just change head, backpack, apply gasmask, helmets, etc.

It looks good, and you made a pretty cool SBS, but one thing I don't agree with is the color of her hair & dress that gets lost in the colors of the sky. I understand that she's a force of nature and therefore there's a reason for the blending, but somehow she should step out more - at least a darker hair and dress .
