After you make the sketch try making a pen tool shape on top - you can manipulate that easier, and the pen it's a quite user friendly tool for drawing ( make a path & stroke). I use that since I don't have a tablet.

Nice work here, i appreciate your idea and the attention to details - deserves a high score.

I don't completly agree with the motion blurr at 90 which creates the effect of floating or bounching pieces, but not scattering, shatter. In that case you should have different angles of motion blur to make it look like the pieces spread on impact.

Looks like a top entry. The SBS lacks information: correct me if I'm wrong, you used a black filled mask for the face, while the letters were white, which masked everything around them and created the effect.

So you took a picture of a chop. Smart bending of rules.

No offence, but clonning could be improved. You could either spend some more time on repairing, using pen tool selections, patience & energy - or you could just crop the image, so that the ball ends up in the low-right part of the image, and that's it .

In english it's Negative. Négatif is the french version.

Since it contains explicit lyrics I presume the album is not a collection of liturgical songs.

I loved Dido's albums too when i was a teen ( maybe cause she's hot ? ), and her physical trade mark consists in light hair and blue eyes.
