Author, you may have to rethink the Globe Projection.. I think it falls under the realm of Illustration. (Not a hard thing to replace) If you repeat the disk and stack it a bit it will give it more density, becoming more disk like instead of a sheet of paper. IMHO. Good luck and cool idea.
(5 years and 1388 days ago)Double check with a MOD to find out if it's okay to use the Polar Projection as a source, but I think it's not allowed.
I was wrong. your photo dimensions are fine.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)I might have misunderstood, Have asked for clarification.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)So you are hiding your money in plain sight?
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Interesting, but have you checked the proportions, 5 x 1?
(5 years and 1389 days ago)When overlaying an image with textures be careful not to destroy the resolution. (Unless that was your intent). In photoshop, you can see how the tail of the dragon is INSIDE the Castle, but the distance is funked up and gives the feeling the Dragon is flying INFRONT of the castle not landing on top of it. (In my eyes anyway). If that was your intent you may want to burn the edges of the castle where the dragon landed to give it more of grounded/holding the tower feel. Again, this could be caused by the texture overpowering the image and making the detail blur. Only a suggestion as always IMHO.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)The Castle source is incredibly blurred in the original source and that adds to the difficulty of matching up the landing effect. Trying to match up the resolution of the castle with the incredible detail of the reptiles cause a lot of the blending issues.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great design, I'm just looking at it as how it could be improved for the overall effect and crank it up a notch.
The calm color scheme is well thought out, but be careful as that can make it a bit bland with no punch. Not a bad thing, but in photoshop there is always room for a little more WOW. GOOD LUCK.
Great display, and very handy if you ever need a little cash.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Interesting image with good texture work. What's the source for the flames?
(5 years and 1389 days ago)A lot of imagination here!!
(5 years and 2714 days ago)I like this ... good job author
(5 years and 2883 days ago)lol thats a realy small bear or a really BIG lady! fun chop
(5 years and 2883 days ago)This would make a great post card. "Greetings from Canada, eh?"
(5 years and 2883 days ago)cool idea..
(5 years and 2884 days ago)high marks!!
great chop (burn the leg against the body of the bear might make it blend a bit more.. just a shade, but I think it would help) IMHO of course
(5 years and 2885 days ago)This reeks Canada to me, nice job .
(5 years and 2886 days ago)Please please please give her (it's a lady, right?..) maple syrup - which she must hold up proudly in her right arm!! - instead of a sword kin of thing. To the victory!!!
(5 years and 2886 days ago)Since the cut backs this is the new musical ride -- LOL -- nice one
(5 years and 2886 days ago)very nice
(5 years and 2886 days ago)aww too bad you missed it, nice image
(5 years and 2887 days ago)The Umbrella logo is all you needed with the title.
(5 years and 3058 days ago)but still good
Much better!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Good concept, but too "busy," visually. Check out some of the other entries to get a better idea of the minimalist concept.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Perhaps just the DNA strand with a break in the middle, rather than the somewhat complicated composition you now have...
Good graphic.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)I like this very much, excellent minimalistic approach in both image and copy! Just one correction, the line should read " This Summer", summer is spelled with two "m's". You should also move the line so it doesn't get covered by the pxleyes logo.
(5 years and 3063 days ago)Author!!!! You need to include a SBS so it doesn't get pulled.. IT'S SO CUTE!!!
(5 years and 3089 days ago)EDIT: YES!!! great sbs!!!
hhhhmmmnnnnn.... well alot of egos here... but I like the image... just hope the rhino wins!
(5 years and 3100 days ago)Naaah, fr33rider2, it's blurry, but NOT in a motion blur type of way. It's blurry as in not as focused as the rest of the surrounding image...
(5 years and 3104 days ago)Consistent focus is part of the criteria of a successful chop, not just the concept.
I think you're just trying to hard MossyB. It's blurry because it's running... I think the only problem is the lighting on the rhino. otherwise, it looks sick!
(5 years and 3105 days ago)The rhino image is too blurry, and the edges are too sharp. It looks very cut and paste. You also need a shadow that corresponds to the bullfighter.
(5 years and 3105 days ago)Good idea, but I'd adjust the perspective on the pieces.
(5 years and 3134 days ago)lol, and how did the cube get there?
(5 years and 3147 days ago)Ah, yes, the cube is nicely done. Funny - hope all is well with mom and baby!
(5 years and 3147 days ago)I had a feeling someone would do this. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the position.
(5 years and 3149 days ago)Awesome work! If only her hair was this long!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)super cool work author...really really great...IMHO she is to big for this scene,so scale her down a bit...best of luck
(5 years and 3150 days ago)Author, this has promise, but you need to list the source of the cube also - unless you made it, then you should show how in the sbs. Good luck!
(5 years and 3150 days ago)hahahahaha...ultimate humor and very cool final product...best of luck
(5 years and 3151 days ago)LMAO! And I agree with EmiK! Great concept!
(5 years and 3151 days ago)Pretty grainy source, but good idea.
(5 years and 3152 days ago)This is hilarious author!
(5 years and 3152 days ago)Oh so that's where sand comes from, I don't think I can quite enjoy the beach the same way anymore, lol.
(5 years and 3152 days ago)Great job, especially blending their two hairstyles.
(5 years and 3153 days ago)This made me laugh out loud, great job.
(5 years and 3153 days ago)interesting idea
(5 years and 3153 days ago)Wonderful! This is especially funny because for some reason she has the nick-name Alice!
(5 years and 3154 days ago)very cool work author...gl
(5 years and 3154 days ago)Heaven help you with your embryo source, the morality police may vote you down to oblivion...lol!
(5 years and 3156 days ago)Very creative entry, best of luck!
Wow, I had to look twice before I could tell it wasn't really Bill! I love it.
(5 years and 3157 days ago)cool...damn she/he reminds me so on Christopher Walken...lol
(5 years and 3157 days ago)Nice entry, only distraction is the dark spot on the bottom of the center pin. Lighten that up and this is great. Good luck!
