Personally I find the background distracting - If you crop it out I think it is a stronger image.

if you made the string at the top a loop it would help the image look like a ball- at the moment it looks like a bomb

Also I think the planks of wood are too short if you stretched them I think the base would look better.

Personally I think the floor is a little too reflective and seems to take away from the tree etc.

If you do reshoot it might be an idea to use a non absorbent base as the white looks like it is being absorbed

Nice photo but the HDR seems a little strong. It also looks like the white balance might be a bit off.

The front on view makes it hard to see the detail in the butterfly.

IMO something that shows the wings a little better (more) as I think they look awesome

I think animany0000 may be saying that a different camera angle may have shown this image off better

A bit of transparency on the wings may have made look a little bigger and less bunched up.
Also with the body have you mapped the UV's as the texture looks stretched around the thorax.
The leaf is great (but it has a couple of sharp edges behind the butterfly).

Finally you may be able to show the wings off better with a different angle as they looked really good on the top view in the SBS

As far as similarities I have seen photos that are more similar in the same contest and remain. I only was able to work out the similarity after I voted and found out who it was. Nice image BTW.

Nice, but the bottom of the mirror is a little distracting. It may be worth cropping it out.

The edges on the cat need to be softened so it will blend in better.

Looks very flat at the moment. Perhaps adding a bit more angle to show the side/top of the radio may add a bit more depth.
Other idea would be to design a scene for it. I know that's a lot of work but I think it would look good.

Also it looks like a bit of an artifact on her left hand - slipped with the brush maybe?

Maybe try and soften the shadow a little (A gaussian blur on the layer may work). To me it looks too strong for the background. In addition the skydivers right arm and lower body is under the dinosaur and would be completely in shadow not have the bright bits.

Don't know if I like the garden hose background or not :P

In the description of the contest it states "all celebrity photos are allowed as well." which I would take as them being OK. Great job author.

I think it would really add to the image if there was a background. I can see the nice work you did to the flower but it seems lacking without the background.

Looks good, however on a standard CPU the pins are only on one side.

Hair I think is ok apart from the fact you can see the outline of the skull, but I do agree the eyes and especially the eyebrows need some work. Perhaps some symmetry.
