Pretty cool, but I'm not diggin' the mushrooms. Too straight of a line, they almost look like sprinklers or something
(5 years and 2582 days ago)Pretty cool, but the perspective of the shoulders don't match the wings (she's kind of turned to the side a little, but the wings are head on)
(5 years and 2582 days ago)Gives me the creepy-crawlies! Nice take on the theme.
(5 years and 2585 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2589 days ago)Congrats for third.... well done.
(5 years and 2589 days ago)Well composed image. The only nitpick would be the rhino's head where it meets the water. Just looks strange to me. Otherwise well done.
(5 years and 2591 days ago)symmetry is not always what makes thing fine ...
(5 years and 2595 days ago)it would be better if you had done some major changes in their pose or sth else
Congrats !
(5 years and 2602 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2603 days ago)There is something very appealing or intriguing about this. But I have some issues: I find the car on the surface inappropriate considering they do not float and we can see the water is very deep (and you already have one submerged - great job!) The submerged person is too "bright" and sharp compared to the underwater scene. The waterfall implies two levels of water, with the rush coming toward the us; if true, that would require a large corresponding splash on farthest part of the left building, too, to show that forward movement.
(5 years and 2603 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2609 days ago)congrats!
(5 years and 2610 days ago)You have so many sources, hard to find which one. It will help in the future if you title them such as "head and neck," "lungs," "wound," etc. instead of "Source 1," "Source 2," etc...
(5 years and 2612 days ago)You're right, the body is unaltered from your source. It then becomes your overall composition that makes it seem too large and poorly placed within the image. This is a visual "illusion" created by the eye's movement from your other elements, colors, and value choices. But since your focus was a zombie effect, more than an optical illusion of distortion, I still stand by my last statement that your technical execution needs work to create a more visually believable balance of the elements used.
She looks too cut and paste, like she is floating above the walk path. The head is also anatomically off, with the face looking too large and far away from the rest of the head and neck.
(5 years and 2612 days ago)An interesting concept, but the technical execution needs a bit more attention to detail.
Looks better now, good luck!
(5 years and 2613 days ago)Interesting idea, especially with the man & woman, but a bit too dark.
(5 years and 2614 days ago)Very creative take! Love it. Very surreal.
(5 years and 2614 days ago)Yes, it's great, though I would have made one or two changes, if you make a tutrial for it, love to have a go.
(5 years and 2782 days ago)Do you think shrinking the entire snake body would help with the balance? (thickening the upper body of course to match the distortion) just that snakes are usually thickest in the top of the pipe, not in the lower) but this is surreal so it is pretty much fair game, altering the background insect creatures so they aren't so duplicated would create more interest in the overall effect as well.. great job.. and GOOD LUCK always, IMHO
(5 years and 2782 days ago)I think a Dodge tool run over the frog might increase the image (visually) he's a cutie good luck
(5 years and 2799 days ago)IMHO, it needs a little more work on the paws, where the waves strike.
(5 years and 2799 days ago)I like your idea. Colorful and interesting. GL.
(5 years and 2808 days ago)This is really cool. Did you intentionally make this diagonal? It also would look good flipped 90* counter clockwise. Although that would be less interesting. The way you have it now...sorta makes you think a bit...which is probably better. Nice job, author!
(5 years and 2808 days ago)very dark, but once my eyes adjusted to the image i thought it was really good
(5 years and 2818 days ago)looks much better now... and i just noticed the tail end of another bird you placed to the left of the image... i liek the idea of a squadron of these, why not group some together in the distance behind her? great stuff!
(5 years and 2822 days ago)Would be more believable if the shell were a lot smaller, like saddle sized. Otherwise it's a fun image.
(5 years and 2828 days ago)Also, the rope is not in her left hand... It is behind it. Mask that hand below the fingers to have the rope thside her hand at the bottom.
(5 years and 2828 days ago)Cool concept. But there are some shadow issues: shell on bird body, steering poles on shell and bird body.
(5 years and 2828 days ago)My favorite entry in this contest, very well executed and good job on the details. Too bad that the high resolution version could not be uploaded. Anyway high vote from me and good luck.
(5 years and 2834 days ago)I too would love to see a high res version. I'm a big fan of this half underwater type image. Nice job.
(5 years and 2837 days ago)Nice work author. The mermaid part feels a bit lacking in shape.
(5 years and 2837 days ago)Making the tail bigger might ground her more, but hell.. it's a fantasy image so what ever you see in your minds eye is okay with me.. (I just see the tail bigger and more powerful to move her body torso) GREAT JOB AND GOOD LUCK .... IMHO
(5 years and 2839 days ago)Objects need shadows.
(5 years and 2840 days ago)hard work
(5 years and 2840 days ago)It's funny.
(5 years and 2915 days ago)But author, you forgot to mention the sources.
Good job on the flesh tones. The rest needs work.
(5 years and 2915 days ago)earth too sharp........maybe u need to motion blur a bit.........
(5 years and 2984 days ago)Great subject mater, looks cool. You ought to upload a HiRes.
(5 years and 2985 days ago)nice improvments, best of luck
(5 years and 2987 days ago)Looks better.... good luck.
(5 years and 2988 days ago)Interesting. I'm not fond of the planet being right up against the top edge of the image, however.
(5 years and 2989 days ago)Much improved, author! Just one thing: the light on the moon is from our right, so the planet would have more of a highlight on that side.
(5 years and 2990 days ago)I agree with CMYK about the planet....check your messages, there you will find a little help to make a nice planet....good luck.
(5 years and 2990 days ago)Planet image is very low res. You can easily find a replacement with decent resolution. GL author.
(5 years and 2990 days ago)nice work..!!
(5 years and 2990 days ago)funny great job!
(5 years and 2991 days ago)The squirrels head the way you have it is a nice touch.
(5 years and 2994 days ago)hehe .. thats very nice ...
(5 years and 2995 days ago)Very funny ! Good luck author !
