wish i could see more of the "tree house" here and not so much tree. makes it look almost like the tree is on an old shed or something. not that i'm doubting you, but... it would be nice to see more house.
(5 years and 3465 days ago)tornado... poor family. i hope the rest of the REAL house was okay.
this is beautiful. the entire composition is just... breathtaking. nice job. definitely going to my favorites!
(5 years and 3465 days ago)does look like a hunting blind... and ... well, most kids don't build them. although, maturity level of alot of hunters i know would still classify them as children.
(5 years and 3465 days ago) thats funny stuff. :P
(5 years and 3465 days ago)your style is distinguishable. and so wonderful! i love the whimsy to this one!
(5 years and 3468 days ago)i love the way you captured the water hitting his face. this is lovely
(5 years and 3468 days ago)ressiv you brought attention to the hand, kinda looks like part of the trumpet fades away behind the hand. bringing the bottom bar of the trumpet in front of the hand would help alot. along with shadowing.
(5 years and 3469 days ago)and the fact that he's blue doesn't bother me. kinda reminds me of wizard of oz, and the flying monkeys. they were bluish. this might have been the lead guy that gets them all rounded up.
good luck!
this is fabulous! definitely my fav so far! Good Luck!
(5 years and 3469 days ago)ooohhhhh dear. i'm enthralled. you've blended and worked the sources so well together. you've captured my full attention. i can't say anything that someone else hasn't already say, except...wow. just pure ..wow.
(5 years and 3470 days ago)whats that she's got in her hand? >.> and i'm with cmyk. not just about the boat but the white edges. you've got a few around a couple of teh sources you used. the reflections aren't quite right...although, i'm not very versed in how to do them properly, i just work til i have what i want. the little pond in the foreground should be reflecting the sky that is above, not the blue sky it seems to be reflecting now. :P
(5 years and 3470 days ago)i think if you just zoom in to the groom ( i believe thats the man in the front with the fancy suit  ) look at that face! he's looking pretty corrupt
(5 years and 3470 days ago)anyway.. humorous lookinto the high res. because i'd never have noticed the looks on half those faces without it. :P
okay.... well, only because i have a severe urge to tell you this... with your fair skin...black nail polish isn't your friend. it just makes your skin look more pale, and causes this really horrible reaction with the flash. my skin is really pale as well, so i fight it all the time. but... perhaps natural lighting with no flash on this might could help? and then raise the skin tone levels to make the skin work out better.
(5 years and 3470 days ago)and a credit card is not math. unless you are looking at how they charge you for all the fees... "late fee" "interest" yada yada. a plastic card with random coins balanced on it doesn't really show math being done. and...the card, although i see what you are trying to say....isn't anymore powerful than the coins. ask anyone in debt. i'm sure they'd tell you having a credit card is actually absence of math.
This is awesome. i love the whole mood of the piece. the ominous feel! nice shot!
(5 years and 3471 days ago)This is awesome. i love the whole mood of the piece. the ominous feel! nice shot!
(5 years and 3471 days ago)the color of the sky! :O its beautiful. you caught this right at sunset didn't you???
(5 years and 3471 days ago)This is noir! very nicely done. love the blinds and the smoke. nicely done!
(5 years and 3472 days ago)congratulations AGAIN. amazing shot!
(5 years and 3472 days ago)You are getting kinda used to your first place aren't you? :giggle: congratulations again friend!
(5 years and 3472 days ago)well, a very much deserved and awesome finish! Congratulations, and Happiest of birthdays even if it is a little belated.
(5 years and 3472 days ago)seems to me as if we are all getting a bit overly picky on entries. to me, this is exactly what the contest is asking for, even if its not technically "supplying" power...it is EXACTLY what the contest conditions describe.
(5 years and 3473 days ago)WOOOOOT!! congrats on your first place!!!! well deserved!
(5 years and 3473 days ago)very nice find!!!!!! i'm lovin this entry..the colors alone are outstanding.
(5 years and 3475 days ago)i forgot i hadn't left a comment here. but... congratulations on your 1st place! well deserved!
(5 years and 3475 days ago)oooohhhh! this is beautiful!!!! love the whole feeling of it.
(5 years and 3475 days ago):adore: i love the fancy trinkets! the boxes especially. WOW. what a lovely room. full of history.
(5 years and 3476 days ago)how come no one commented??? look at those photography awards something to be quite proud of. and honestly..anyone with a clean house has way too little creativity. creative people are notoriously cluttered.
(5 years and 3476 days ago)hahahahaha
(5 years and 3476 days ago)awesome shot. i'm with kyricom. the DOF is amazing. and what a creative standpoint. instead of the bike as a whole, the parts that make it go.
(5 years and 3476 days ago)WOW man! what a great use of the source and all! you did amazing with this entry.something to be quite proud of. GOOD LUCK!!!
(5 years and 3477 days ago)i would soften the edges around him just a little. But yes, definitely CUUUUUTE!
(5 years and 3477 days ago)its not just older basketballs. Most spaldings are made of leather. the ones meant for indoor play (NBA uses spalding ONLY and all of them are leather balls) Some of the newer Spaldings use a microfiber composite with the leather, but are still leather.
(5 years and 3477 days ago)Rubber balls are used mostly for outdoor play and schools which are on a budget. Leather balls will last longer for indoor use, but they seem to take such a hit in the weather.
ANYWAY. long story short..awesome shot. incredibly on theme. and research of spalding ball construction would be a good thing. because its not just REALLY old basketballs that were made of leather. ALL NBA balls are leather.
well, i'd say you see quite well. at least.... you've got an "eye" for a good capture.
(5 years and 3477 days ago)*hugs*
this is beautiful!!!!!
(5 years and 3477 days ago):O hahaha! what an awesome capture! the most original bike i've seen yet Good Luck!
(5 years and 3477 days ago)that driveway is amazing! the pattern in it! :O
(5 years and 3477 days ago)but yeah..about that door. wonder what kinds of cars are parked behind it!
you made me go look for the donuts. :P what about the banana a top them?
(5 years and 3477 days ago)i love this one. this makes me feel like "real" people live here. and take pictures here.
i can see both sides of the arguement on this one. honestly, the grass does set off the WHITE which is what the focus of the contest is. Although, there could have been a ton of other angles to take this picture from. This is why each one of us could take a picture of the same exact thing and end up with entirely different results. I say, Good luck with this entry.
(5 years and 3477 days ago)and..its always easier to critique someone else's vision of something. :P
I agree with karaflazz. bring a little oddity to the picture to give it an edge
(5 years and 3477 days ago)awesome capture!
(5 years and 3477 days ago)blown out or not.. i love it. Modern, and well constructed set up. and you really got the whites with this.
(5 years and 3477 days ago):O and now i get to watch you blow us all away with photography tooooo??? :O
(5 years and 3477 days ago)you know, even in just the thumbnail, i knew this had to be yours.
(5 years and 3477 days ago)lovely job, and yes..i agree...it definitely paid off!
 nice one. i actually was thinking of this last night!!! :P
(5 years and 3478 days ago)I love this! so creative!!! and talk about overachieving. :P
(5 years and 3478 days ago)Love the frosted touch to this.
(5 years and 3478 days ago)amazing. and congrats.
(5 years and 3479 days ago)Very awesome. wish you luck on this one!
