I have no problems with the quality of the piece. I have problems with ignorantly using a source that would cause controversy like this. Author, you of all should get that, because had someone else done this idea, I am certain I would be reading your remarks here as well. You voice them so boldly.
You could gain much higher marks using a more socially acceptable source. That's all. You chose to incorporate something that would scream attention to your piece, and I suppose for votes, that's great. But...morally speaking, you could have done much better with a live baby.

I'm not gonna run off and say this isn't good. or well done. but distasteful, for sure. on a site where nudity isn't allowed, excessive gore isn't allowed, yet a dead fetus in a jar is allowed? is there a moral border here i've yet to understand? I've seen nipples taken out. i've seen things depicting drugs taken out. i've seen things that were mildly gory removed because it was on the border. this is almost morally disturbing enough to have crossed that border as well.
would it have been any different had it been a dead cat?

honestly, i'm so old fashioned that i believe leaving a little to the imagination is very important in remaining "sexy". in my opinion, you captured that mystery. the fact that you don't see her face, or her frontside..its intriguing. i do think she could have arched her back a bit to give it more..CURVE..but really, its well done. and i like the out of the dark style photography.

and...Ade, if you were a mother of a wild little boy, you'd understand more. Sometimes taking the time to make funny faces with them is showing more love than coddling them. Its about the time spent, and how it measures up to the child. its not a picture perfect definition, as no love really can be defined in a dictionary or on wikipedia.

Its kinda funny, but I personally love to see shots of people taken by themselves in a mirror like this, showing also their tool of the trade. It shows a sense of pride for the equipment that brings you to your artistic expression.

I love how music and art really inspire each other...the way each person views lyrics and puts them to an image....and its ironic that faith was brought into this because my first thoughts were of the incredible political vibe I got from it right away. They say politics and religion are 2 subjects that cause the most debate...and most people find it taboo to speak of either with even their closest friends. You managed to cross that barrier. And most gracefully I might add.

Oooooooooh my goodness. The raw emotion that seeps from this is just ....powerful. what a statement. The stakes through the body are so symbolic...for every day we as humans face both those demons....our faith is tested and our self image is doubted...and daily we stand as if on a stage to the onlookers with their plastic smiles pasted acrossed their faces, waiting...as if their opinions mattered.
And somehow, even though we say the opposite, those opinions and expectations do matter. And they cut thru us in the most agonizing ways.
Id say well done, but its an understatement. I'm in awe.
