I agree with craigers on the shoes...beyond the fact that the legs would look longer, you would also be gaining a lot by having them visable against the backdrop.

:lol: well, i do like the shot. however, i feel that your softening has caused it to look a tiny bit oof. i do like the clarity and how it makes the skin look...however, it almost doesn't look realistic.
now..aside from a photography standpoint...i have to be personally picky.
her fingernails needed painted.. not that you notice that right off, but with all the softness in the picture, this ...well, it leaves an unfinished feel to it. A glamour shot should be just that. glamorous. and...chipped up week old fingernail polish isn't glamorous. the bracelets are a bit too much, making the arm look overly bulky.
i like how you have her seated...however, she looks like she's having an issue balancing there. like it was an uncomfortable seating. its all in the body language.

Personally, its one of the better entries. however, i see much that can be improved about it..and since the model is the center of your shot..perhaps focusing on all her little things would do you well.

somehow i just knew that had to be YOU. beautiful shot..and i LOVE how the light glistens off of the body of this beauty.

its too bright. perhaps lower the brightness, up the contrast..might help.

its a darker emotion than i expect...and the brighteness surrounding the girl is really ethereal. i like the feeling, even though its a heavy weight, you've effectively moved the viewer.

I know what you mean author, but to me its distracting from the skin which is the focus of the picture. Perhaps its my own peeve, and no one else is distracted by the nail, unfortunately for me my eye keeps looking at the nail. :P

think i'd have paid closer attention to the nails at this sort of closeness. i mean...a fresh coat of paint and perhaps some filing is in order.

its the neck meeting the chin/jawline of a man who is a few hours after a shave.

In my part of the world, that's a little grasshopper. Not cricket.

I think the fisheye is fun, however a completely unflattering lens in the way this shot was angled. Just a suggestion, but what if you angled more from the eyebrow line, or the top of the frame of the glasses? Would maybe make for a more flattering shot of your better half.

I think I might have put to use the self timer here and that way you wouldn't see your arm or the child in the reflection. Since the shot is to focus the viewer on the sunglasses, those elements make it a little distracting. Maybe reshoot using a timer or a remote?
But I do love them shades.

awesome texture shot. really. i'm loving the difference between the foreground and the background! nicely done.

this one is pretty good actually. i like the dof on it, the texture is awesome...and the contrast between the tweed and the "C" shaped logo is nice. i do think i would have set my focal point closer to the fore of the picture instead of the middle of the picture, but still. nice.

i think this is a great entry, and i've given it high marks. but..i do have to play devils advocate and say that your source already looked just like jessica rabbit. not a hard humanization to do, as you didn't have to mess with her face or her skin or anything to make her look like the character you were doing. She was already dressed the part and in a classic Jessica Rabbit pose. :P

Anywho...i do like the effects you gave her dress, and the setting you put her in. i think you should have glossed up her lips a bit more. thats just personal opinion. Good Luck with your entry
