Beautiful photograph and excellent image! Just curious however. How large are these waffles and the other contents? They look delicious but very small to me. I have not seen heart shaped waffles before so I do not know but would like to.

From another perspective, perhaps if the dark areas were a shade lighter and the bright areas a shade darker one could tell what it is but then that different perspective might lessen the mystery and we would not have played charades. Thanks again. Good stuff.

OK - That explains it. Thanks. I thought it might be fungus or mold but one never knows for sure in a photograph unless there is a good hint of some sort. Perhaps a short expanded title might be helpful for this nice photograph.

For sure do not become discouraged. It is a beautiful image well done. Continue to photograph, be creative and enter contests. Do remember however that themes and rules are important but at the same time it is only a photograph in the eyes of others and it may not always be viewed with the same emotion you put into it. Have you experimented with cropping the bottom out a bit more so that the white part of the skin is less visible? Maybe up to the second hole in the watch band at the clasp? Either way a splendid photograph.

It is a tackle box full of fishing gear. A serious fisherman or some one who loves fishing will see it. Perhaps a better title would be helpful for non fishers. Good photograph.
