You are certainly working hard on this one, got rid of the green but too much magenta, try a Hue/Saturation layer and reduce the Magenta.

I do agree with Friiskiwi suggestion to remove the colour cast. At the moment, it's a bit greenish. When the colour cast have been removed, the idea of showing inner side of the chocolate would be a great concept

That is looking better, but still a little too green, if you go to My profile, and look at my albums, I have uploaded some screen shots on how to improve the colour cast using curves.

Yummy black chocolate! My favorite!!!! Now it looks much better author with cutting the edges you gave it a unique taste too!

Try lightening it a little and warm up, eg. increase reds, at present it does not look like something I would like to eat.

I really like this one,not easy to make a nail look good.

That's the point, it's hard to see or appreciate the "spooky" in black and white, it just kind of looks like a big gray mass.

I think this might have been better in color, to help show the depth. In black and white, the roots look somewhat "flat" and nondescript.

For me, black and white is most effective when there are strong visual contrasts. Grays just all tend to blend together.
