Great pic, agree with sharpening.
You probably know this, so this will be useless info. Use high pass filter to sharpen. You need a new layer with all elements on, go to filter menu, down to other-high pass, play with slider, not too high then that layer blending mode to overlay or hard light add layer mask and paint with black to bring back bits you don't want sharp.

everything except the sun appears blurred... or is it my eyes?? try to sharpen up the black planet/moon and the rocket.. gl

Not bad. Here and there maybe a bit too dark for my taste, perhaps you'd like to reduce those heavy black areas a bit. Smart use of the source for the forehead, but something tells me that you could use the shell's inside plus surrounding on a better way to make the eyes (if you look at that part, it kinda hàs the shape from an evil eye already). But that's up to you. Good luck!
