Love the subject, but it's just a wee bit dark. Also like you were in a hurry, or the wind was blowing, as it's a little blurry.
(5 years and 2414 days ago)Almost looks more like an etching rather than a photo.
(5 years and 2414 days ago)Very nice, but a little dark
(5 years and 2417 days ago)Nice, but you might want to tone down the greens a bit
(5 years and 2417 days ago)Lovely, but you may want to do some work on the white balance.
(5 years and 2421 days ago)fantastic colors, very beautiful, bravo
(5 years and 2558 days ago)How come the "dew" doesn't cover everything?
(5 years and 2560 days ago)Beautiful. Fresh flower's petals bathed in water
(5 years and 2561 days ago)Beautiful. Fresh flower's petals bathed in water
(5 years and 2561 days ago)wonderfully scary
(5 years and 2567 days ago)Hey that's a maple - hello Canadian - nice colour - nice pic

(5 years and 2571 days ago)WATER DROPLETS!!!!!!!!!
(5 years and 2575 days ago)just a little faster shutter speed would have been nice
(5 years and 2575 days ago)The Canon T2i has a color oversaturation of about 111%, which can give you 'comic book' colors on Auto Mode. You will have to switch to a mode where you can make 'Picture Style' adjustments, and reduce your saturation slightly (-1 should bring to very close to a more natural color saturation). I believe you will find the information on or about Pg 92-94 of your user manual.
(5 years and 2579 days ago)That's one of the joys of modern cameras, they allow for pretty easy 'point and shoot' capabilities, but have some very powerful tools built in to let you tweak the settings for even better photos.
Also, the Photography Contest rules DO allow you to make saturation adjustments with Photoshop so long as your adjustment (saturation) is applied to the entire image, and not just a portion of it (selective editing).
Hope this helps you, some!

lovely
(5 years and 2579 days ago)What model camera are you using? Some oversaturate the colors on Auto...
(5 years and 2580 days ago)Excellent focus and color. I'm not a fan of wasps, but I am a fan of this photo! Great job!
(5 years and 2580 days ago)beautiful
(5 years and 2580 days ago)I'm not saying you did anything wrong as far as the rules are concerned.
(5 years and 2580 days ago)Nice, but the butterfly is a bit OOF
(5 years and 2580 days ago)Very nice. Might just brighten it a touch
(5 years and 2580 days ago)Very nice, but a bit oversaturated
(5 years and 2580 days ago)Over processed, IMO
(5 years and 2580 days ago)nice catch
(5 years and 2587 days ago)Looks like a cute dog, but it's a bit OOF
(5 years and 2588 days ago)This seems too incomplete with the top cut off. It's hard to appreciate it as a sculpture since the eye cannot envision it as a whole. It just looks like a portion of a log with some cuts made to it.
(5 years and 2594 days ago)rather strange colour?
(5 years and 2613 days ago)Its really nice author. Good work
(5 years and 2615 days ago)fine colours, fine photo, bravo
(5 years and 2615 days ago)The colors seem odd, the bird appears slightly purple under its wing, and the overall tone seems a bit too saturated.
(5 years and 2619 days ago)nice. Might increase brightness just a touch
