(5 years and 2984 days ago)I'm with Minnie .. excellent take on the theme
(5 years and 2984 days ago)Really good work! And true too !!
(5 years and 2984 days ago)This one is great, maybe the arrival sign to look a bit rustier
(5 years and 2985 days ago)cool effect! the clock looks too big to me
(5 years and 2986 days ago)A bit too dark around the edges - The bottom looks too much like a dark line, which draws the eye away from the focal point of the swans and emphasizes the excess dead space on the sides. It would look stronger to just crop the sides, and lighten the "mood" by about half.
(5 years and 2986 days ago)to further enhance the watch..
(5 years and 2987 days ago)suggest:
1. add a dab of sheen(shinny spot) for more glass-look
2. add a little sand grain on the glass (if prefered)
I like this...
idea is there... but should add a "wow" or "oh!" feel..
(5 years and 2987 days ago)suggest.. let the zoom-in bugs make funny faces, like sticking out their tongues
Brilliant!
(5 years and 2988 days ago)Looks a very nice blend and the mood/lighting is great....shame we dont have a higher res to view, well done and best of luck author
(5 years and 2988 days ago)More of a minor addition than a manipulation, I would expect more based on the level of entries already in the contest, best of luck though
(5 years and 2988 days ago)Really nice use of great source finds. I like the muted color and overall mood of this!

amazing work author gl
(5 years and 2989 days ago)amazing work author gl
(5 years and 2989 days ago)author, I suggest you post a super large image of just the finished timepiece in the SBS, it would help in seeing the work done good image though.. GOOD LUCK!
(5 years and 2990 days ago)EDIT: Can see the work now author.. GOOD LUCK AGAIN!
To me, this would be more dramatic if the two were face-to-face (both pure profile) rather than having the lion being off to the side while she looks past it. Darkening the background would make the foreground figures stand out more.
(5 years and 2990 days ago)very neat feel author, GOOD LUCK!
(5 years and 2990 days ago)Very artistic. Well done
(5 years and 2990 days ago)Lovely rendition! Nice job author. GL!

(5 years and 2991 days ago)nice work
(5 years and 2991 days ago)Appealing tones, but the balloon could stand out a bit more. A Rule-of-Thirds composition might have more impact (perhaps a brighter balloon moved to the left to contrast with the dark blue in the upper right). The opening at the bottom of the balloon does not match the perspective of the gondola or the owl. BTW what is attaching the gondola to the balloon?
(5 years and 2992 days ago)"Cat Ahoy!" ... guess you are going to land on "Mouse-Island" right?
(5 years and 2992 days ago)Beautiful concept, but the yellow buildings are a bit too saturated and sickly looking with too much of a green tone. Perhaps a bit more of a pale brownish color to make them less dominant, so that the balloon can remain the focal point.
(5 years and 2992 days ago)The head does not look attached to the body, it appears to be floating well in front of it, which is accented by the shadow on the bottom and the inconsistent lighting. The right side is so dark, you can barely make out the balloon ear on that side, while the white area behind the head on the left is distracting.
(5 years and 2992 days ago)I'm not quite sure what you were attempting with this piece, author, but it looks very "thrown together," rather than composed.
this is awesome
(5 years and 2993 days ago)Looks very good, great composition.
