In my opinion, the outline around the avocados detracts from the impression of reality you are hoping to portray.

Nice - but to add some authenticity to it, I would add something in the background that goes behind the glass and is obviously blurred by it, if you follow.. Just an idea..

bravo on the effect author..I'm not sure it's truly glass yet... I'm sure there will be someone who can guide you to make this entry look even more like glass since that was your intent (I'm still learning so I'm not quite sure what would help (image is a bit dusty at the moment) but good luck on this and good work..
