Not enough emphasis on the hood ornament or the logo. The reflection of the legs, and all the light reflections on the hood take away from the supposed subject.

I guess the key is that the apparent starting point for the enhancements must seem to be a "REAL photo"—but Photoshopping could occur anywhere along the way. This image certainly fits the bill.

"Realistic" is not the same as "still looks like a REAL photo..."

"...you can clone out or add in, change colours, apply filters ... generally ENHANCE your own photos."

The author changed colors, but it still looks like a real photo.

Author....is there a vignette (white) applied to this? if so...it's not permitted according to the photography guidelines...

Would recommand re-shooting these coins in piles rather than rows to fit the entry theme. You have the props, good luck with the stacking.

Nice stash and DOF. I'd consider this shot on a black or white surface that would make the coins jump out. Great effort and it looks like you polished your coins.

Try to smudge it a bit. With a strength about 80%. More or less.

If you have a tablet, It'll done easily with the smudge tool. But first, do not erase it, try using masking capability in order to achieve the better manipulation tools.

for the fading into of the black and brown, you can use a big brush for the "Eraser" tool to brush out for a smoother fade-in.

note: remember to have original copy of dog intact, so if you made a mistake, you can still re-do it.
