I'm not sure why, but this picture just doesn't do it for me. The dessert itself looks yummy but the rest of the picture makes the overall thing unappealing. Maybe it is the lighting or the fact that it is just STUFFED in there, I don't know

the top bun looks like it has dirt or mold on it and it looks as if a light was too close or you used a flash.

I think the fries look the right color but it would look better if the red in the box was brighter

Another idea if there's nothing in your town, take a picture down the road as far as your camera will take it so it shows how rural it is or something.

The picture looks really flat for one and two, there's not much to look at (which may be what you were getting at though)
Maybe try getting a picture the downtown area of your town.
If you stick with this picture though, I would definitely take it into photoshop or other program and mess with the "curves" and "saturation" to give it some color and depth.

ahhh, no sorry author, this isn't what I mean either, but this one looks creative Okay, so if you duplicate him, flip him underneath and lower the opacity you will have a reflection like you first had. Okay, now what you want to do is click on the deformation tool, and put your cursor over the nodes (the tiny squares on the corners and middle of the lines you see) Now, if you hold the Shift button or Ctrl button when pulling these nodes, you will be able to deform them in different ways than with just pulling the nodes. You may have to play around with it a little to get it the way you want it.
Like I said though, this new reflection is quite creative, I would just move it over so the feet touch still.
