sorry you feel that way. This is supposed to be a professional looking phtograph for one (per theme description) and two, the composition, the lighting, and the size can all be improved so much more. If anything, try taking it into a paint program and use "curves" and possibly a slight bit of saturation. Sorry if I sounded rude, but I don't have tons of time to sit here and write perfectly so that my comments don't look rude. Usually if I say something, it is because I really like a photo, or I feel the photo can be fixed and turn out nice or just trying to help someone out so that they can do better next time. So, again...the flash made harsh shadows in this that do not flatter the photo and has also made it look flat, the photo is very small (and in high resolution now it is still small) and also I believe you could have moved to your left just a tad when taking this photo so that the subject would be in 1/3 of the photo instead of centered and the bush wouldn't have looked like it was falling on his shoulder. I'm no expert or professional, so you can take my advice or learn on your own here.

oh....and obviously captgeo must know what he's talking about since he is a moderator here and could probably decide for you which one to keep if you won't

I don't see it anymore, but there used to be a rule about not submitting two photos of basically the same shot/subject unless it is substantially different.

This is a wonderful photo and the hat is over the top, but from what I got, is that the pose has to be over the top too "it must be a combination of weird pose, extreme make up and or out of the ordinary clothes"

I would have cropped out the side so you didn't see the flash and then bump up the contrast just a hair.

I entered a picture once that fit the theme well, but looking back, the picture was gross. It was of a dog in a bad situation and in the background there was poop ALL over the place. That dog poop really gave you a sense of the bad situation the dog was in....which was perfect for the theme, but because the poop was so gross, it was a bad picture and you'd never see it used on a commercial or an ad or anywhere really. So my point is, the dirty floor does nothing for the picture.

point your camera towards the front part of the truck, hold your shutter release button half way down so it focuses on the part. Keep holding the button halfway down while you move the camera and point it in the middle and then press all the way down when you get it where you want it. This should keep the front part focused, but the whole truck will be in the picture. I used to have a point and shoot also and did this for pictures where I wanted the focus off to one side of the photo, not in the middle.

yes, it is a good image still and I think it gives the feel of what Dragan tries to portray in his photos too.
edit: and just wanted you to know that a lot of times I will try to give advice, even when the picture is good....to try to help make it even better

ahhh that's what I figured... but it must be that the statue was up high enough to reach over any background "stuff"
